Hey Lynn, you are doing great, don't be discouraged because you haven't quit entirely. You've cut down, right? Less is better and you'll get there.
Seems like there's been some good suggestions. What worked for me, was finding my correct nic level. I needed more in the morning to kick start my day, and then lessened it around lunch time. After some time, I've settled to a 12mg level that seems to work well for me all day long.
Finding a good atty seems key too. Something that gives you a good hit like an LR 510 or LR 301 might be key. The new 301's are pretty good, but I find myself remaining with the LR510's.
Today is 6months for me. 6 months! And I still have a cig once in a blue moon. If anything, they remind me why I
vape. They taste horrid, make me cough, and even give me the hiccups from the increased nicotine. When I have one, I don't have a craving for another for a long time. And when I do, I figure 1 every 3 weeks or so isn't the worst thing.
So keep it up, you will get there eventually. Just don't get too discouraged, it's really just a matter of finding the right combination that works for you.
