REO #4 (5) Help

So I'm lucky enough to be able to start looking for my next REO. I want a SL/LP but here's my question for you guys, silver vein or wrinkled? I have a mini that is SV and had a grand that was wrinkled. I like both but my concern is the edges of the holes on the SL's.

I'm curious to see what you guys have to say.

The edges are smooth. I have a Silver Vein. Nothing sharp about it. I would imagine the same with the wrinkle. I also have some SL doors that aren't wrinkled. It is smoooooooth.

I don't mean to hijack this thread but can you tell me the color of the blue one? Is that the blue metallic??? The one on the site looks so much lighter. Or is it the purple metallic? Or something else. I've been waiting and waiting to get this color. I just love that!

I bought the paint and sent it to Rob to make me two special Reo's

The green wrinkle and the "harley davidson" Blue.

I haven't seen any of those listed since I had mine made.

What kind of paint did you have to send him?

Powder coat. I bought American from a company in Florida and had it shipped directly to Rob. I'll have to look it up. There are a ton of Chinese powder coats. But, I don't trust them. (lead)

It was one pound of powder coat.
