Just a quick easy question...is there in the center of the connector a tiny rubber Oring?

I thought the connector - what you screw the atomizer etc into just had a small flat disc of silicone rubber under it as a gasket. Or am i answering a different question?

Are you talking about what goes around the center pin? See below. There is a gasket which is more like a sleeve than an o-ring. And on the new ones, there is a smaller gasket on top...that could seem like an o-ring.
I only ask because I just removed my older 2.0 and around the extended center post (where it protrudes out) was a small Oring attached. 
So I figured it had to come from the connector since my new 2.0 doesn't have one exposed. Funny thing is i screwed it back in and it worked then tried the new 2.0 and it worked. Very strange. I know there is a gasket in the connector so I gotta wonder hoe this Oring magicly appeared.

This was a rubber Oring. Maybe its from the the 2.0. I did have to unscrew it pretty far for it to make the connection to fire...which I thought was odd. Something I didn't have to do for the Tesla which worked right from the package. A PM to Rob might be inorder.

If it was black rubber...then I'd say it has nothing to do with the connector. But I agree....get a hold of Rob.

A closer look at the new 2.0 it looks to have a tiny rubber Oring seal around the center post. My toxic/corrosive Lave juice has appeared to claimed yet another Oring victim.
There are no O-rings in there Im guessing your toxic juice has ate the gasket

Not so much that it morphed I had one gasket go all black and separate looking like an oring once musta been the juice

Seriously...I could have sworn gaskets looked more like plastic than rubber. Was it as tiny as the screw head at the bottom of the reomizer?

Well I talked to Rob and I'm sending the whole kit and kaboodle to him to sort out.
They are like a soft silicone rubber. I forget what juice I was using that ate mine and turned it black. I'm just guessing but suspect that may be what's happened to you. Hope ya get sorted ASAP. I know if the master is on the case it will be. Hope ya have a good backup
Interesting. My brand new 2.0 works in it with out the gasket if that what it was.....very strange.
Just the top of my gasket came free. It's kinda a t shape if that makes sense. Could have been the juice and maybe over tightening. Not too sure. But it made sense to me when I got the new gasket.
