So I finally met another Reo owner in person! I was at a fundraiser in a bar and saw a guy across the bar stealth vaping. He was not stealthy enough however because I instantly recognized his device. So of course I go over and introduce myself and we're off to to races. Full blown Reo discussion. Now my gal comes looking for me (I had been gone from our table for who knows how long) and is observing me and this guy totally geeking out about our Reos. She stands there for a bit, hers eyes start to glaze over, then she turns and goes back to our table. Pretty funny.

I have yet to randomly bump into another REO user, but I come across vapers quite often, and will usually strike up a conversation with them if they don't look too occupied. Many a Blu smoker has been introduced to the world of REO this way, I brag on my Grand like a grandparent hopped up on No-Doz and sherry.

HA! Yeah, hard not to brag 'em up! Starting to run in to more and more vapers here too. A brick and mortar opened here a few months ago and is doing quite well.

Glad to hear it - I don't want to lose our online marketplace, but it's good to see brick and mortars popping up. We have a great vaping lounge/store here in Phoenix that, even though they're more expensive than online, I buy from whenever I need something they stock. I like having a place to get supplies at the drop of a hat and go out of my way to support it.

It's amazing how many vapers out there don't realize there's something beyond the cig-alikes.

Same here - I want this guy to succeed. I've been there when quite a few newbies come in looking for a "cig-alike" (good one!) He stocks one style like that and uses it to demonstrate why one should be open to something a little better. If they persist he'll sell it to 'em but doesn't like to.

Ours doesn't sell cig-alikes, but they have a bookshelf on one wall called 'the wall of shame' that's full of those, and regular cigs, and so on. They're used for visual aids and comparisons with the stuff they DO sell, which starts with eGo Tanks and goes up to a variety of mods.

Cute story: the guy that runs the place has a REO Grand (he learned about them from our ECF meets, where he's a regular, and had to have one) but isn't allowed to use it while he's working because they don't sell REOs... so he drips all day on a tube mod, and then goes full-on REO once he's off the clock.

So...... There's a REO for sale in Texas?! :D

Nah. I won't ask him to sell it. He's not the first vaper to backslide and if he's ready to quit again, he should have a Grand at the ready.

To be honest, we just said hello in passing and I didn't bring up the smokes. They could be for his lady friend for all I know. He knows he can ask me for tips or suggestions about vaping.
