Received my first REO

As i was walking down the stairs from our apparment i saw the mailman(woman) coming towards me, GREAT!! more bills just what i needed with a newborn baby girl who needs a new car seat and a 1½yo just starting kindergarten. but then my vapemail eyes noticed a small white package with red and blue stripes in her hand. my heart skipped a beat, i instantly knew what it was! asked the girl if it was for Mr H on the top floor and she said yes. here take my ID and give me that package i replied.
rushed to the car intalled the little one on her place (sound asleep) put the package on the roof of our car and thought to my self "should i wait?" F that! ripped it opened and there it was "AHAAAAAAAA AAAHHHHA AAAAHHHHHH" (angels choir) one piece of pretty REO Grand. took a ride (ikea chirst i really hate that place) go home built a 1.3ohm coil on the RM2 and off i went into vaping bliss. so far im more than pleased i only have one issue and if im getting it right its one that a lot of you guys n' gals here have encounted?

I NEED ANOTHER ONE!

Hahahaha!! I noticed in the picture thread that you labeled it "My first REO" and I had to laugh. You guys are catching on early these days. In the past, new REOnauts would say "this is all I'm ever going to need"......and we'd all tell them to just wait, that they'll want another one, that there's something about a REO......Ha. Then within a month or two.....they'd own at least three! It's cool that you know right off the bat that your new REO needs a sibling.

Seriously, congratulations on both the REO and the RM2. You're going to be in vape heaven. Park those kids somewhere safe so you can vape yourself into a coma if you need to.

got a question or two,
1. on the reomizer the air hole and coil need to be almost aligned with the button to not wobble.i have the oring in the dripwell, anything else i should think of? it vapes great but i have read that you want the hole and coil to be opposite of the button.
2. noalox, i take it that that's what's in the litte ziplock bag. where should i apply it? on the threading of the rm2? never used it before.

The Noalox gets applied on the tip of the firing pin. I reapply it every couple of weeks, after giving the REO a good bath. With the door off and battery removed, press your firing button and watch on the inside of the REO for the little metal strip that touches the battery. The noalox goes on that little metal strip....just a dab will do ya!

Hey Hampa! Awesome! Congrats and welcome. The airhole doesn't need to be opposite the button, it just needs to or pointing as close to straight up when the mod is up to your mouth taking a hit. Many people hold and fire their mod differently, some fire with their index finger etc...
If I can't get mine to point up in my normal firing position (I use my thumb with the button pointing down) I will either use an extra Oring or just plain adjust my firing position

Also, Most if the RM2s have the airhole adjusted so its right in front if the coil, but there are a rare few where its not. If you pull your drip tip and look down into the atty, check that the airhole is right infront of the coil. If its not, we can adjust that too

I actually had a similar box arrive yesterday, I held my breath running up the stairs ripping the package open just to find out it was plastic bottles, sure it was for the reo but come on! Almost only almost cried a bit.

Next up, you should get a VV grand. That front button (trigger finger firing position) is reason enough to have one. How big I THOUGHT they were kept me from getting one too originally. The fact is that they're only slightly larger than a grand. For me, it is like the perfect fit in my hand. I don't take it outside or put it in my pocket though because they can't be washed. It mostly stays home and on some short rides in the car. It is a badass mod.
