Oh and im going to retire the fat lady.
My imgur has about 190 versions of her on there. So no more fat lady for new reonauts :)

there's no reason i know of why fat lady pics would fill up your imgur. just post the same pic url...

i would volunteer to hand out fat lady pics, but i think we can all agree that my doing so would lead to a train wreck of epic proportions :)

Mama, I hearby nominate you :). Train wrecks are great :)

I post them directly from my iPhone with imgur as the host. Every time I do that it saves a new one :)

Your welcome you mod rockin Jedi squonktologist.

Yeah, it's got it some po-ten-sheel.

One of these days you'll git off your ... and figure out how to make it where it never needs refilling, never needs the battery changed, auto squonks, self levitates to my mouth and fires on command.

But until then, I'll slum with my REOs if that's ok boss. I'll manage. Get by. Weather the storm if you get my drift.

:)

You forgot the gps mp3 player and the dog whistle

Not to mention the money printer and foot massager.

and do the dishes too!

Y'all's don't do all that? I guess I just got lucky :)

out of respect for Robert, and fear of Lisa perma-banning me, i respectfully decline your generous offer :)

but you should just be able to store a fat lady url in notepad, and just paste it in, without making another copy on imgur

if, for some reason, that don't work, i'll be happy to help you find another patsy volunteer...

Great video super X!

No more fat lady...

hmmm...can we get a skinny one instead?

JLR9, I don't know if Sterno is still doing the infamous doohickey, an alternative is to do an ebay search for LED voltage display.

you sure bout that?

Nice job, Russ!! Always love your vids. Question for you on the voltage drop, if I may.... (And I preface this with I'm very ignorant when it comes to electrical circuits. I can use Ohm's law to calculate current, ohms and voltage given 2 of the three variables but I'm not sure how to apply it in this case.)

It looks like your measuring voltage across the pos and neg posts on the atty, with firing button down. How does the resistance of the coil come into play when measuring voltage drop?

Is it simply a case where current will take the path of least resistance therefore the coil doesn't matter at all? In other words, you could conduct the same test with no coil and come up with the same results? Of course, this assumes that the resistance, if any, of your measuring device is next to nothing. Or I have it all backwards and don't understand at all, which is entirely possible :)

I'm also assuming I could do the same test with a decent multi-meter.....

Thanks again!

Nice video Supe! Very informative for those new to Reos and bottom-fed mods in general.

Not to nitpick, but it would have been nice if you covered the Reo's safety feature, it's negative spring. Most mechs nowadays do not come with any safety feature other than a battery vent hole. They don't have anything to protect you and your batts from a short. The Reo's collapsible spring is a great safety feature and has already saved me from a shorted atty once.

Overall, it's a really well-designed, great performing (with the new contacts) mod that's highly customizable and safe. :)

It definitely has potential. :D

Fleet, I am not the most scientific minded individual. That said, I believe that the voltage drop decreases as the coil resistance increases. I don't have the tools to check the VD of the mod itself but I'm guessing it must be less than .1v.

So in summary, if I was to wrap a lower resistance coil tne VD would increase. :)

Great point. I will add another speech bubble with that information :). This video was my first use of text over the vid :)

Thank you.
