I went through Vivi Novas for a while but, since trying dripping, I'm hooked. I'm interested in a VV Reo Grand but was wondering about the battery life. I've been using a provari with an 18650 and it will last me all day or even two even with pretty heavy use. I see that this device takes a pair or 18350s. The AW IMRs I'm seeing are 700mAh which would put it to 1400mAh total. This is well short of the 2000-2200mAh I would expect from an 18650. How long should I expect the batteries to last in this case? I know there is also some risk to stacked batteries. I'm told I need to charge in pairs and only used matched pairs in this scenario. Is that correct? Thanks for any info you might have.

I have a VV REO Grand and I get a little over 3 ml of juice through my atty before I change batteries. I'd say I get roughly half a day from a set of batteries. The 18350s are 700 mAh, but stacking them doesn't double the mAh. Stacking them doubles the volts (3.7 x 2) The VV chip then regulates that voltage down so that you can select voltage 3.5 - 5.5 volts. The recommended batteries (AW IMR 18350) are safe chemistry, and the REOs are totally vented (squonk hole in the door) plus there's a safety feature that will shut the power off before it would melt down. Anyway, bottom line, I get about half a day out of a set of batteries. The VV REO Grand is a piece of art....very, very well made and a great VV machine. I don't think you'd be disappointed if you owned one. You could go to the Reos mods forum and read around and ask any questions you have. Great group of people.
