HRH has a cold, which is obviously my fault. She is coughing and blowing her nose and whining at me because she cannot smell or taste anything.

My suggestion that it is now the perfect time to vape all the crap juices she has made in the past has not been well-received. On the positive side, it's sunny and close to 70f here today, so a night under the stars may not prove terminal.

Yea, I am not in to the wooden mods. I get this feeling I would just be too rough on them.

Oh, I absolutely love them. I am not so gentle with mine and she seems to be pretty resilient . The one I have is Utile with a natural finish, not too high maintenance, a little Howards Sunshield every once in a while is all she needs. I have a dream of an all Woodvil Reo collection....not so sure I will accomplish it but it's good to have goals, lol. I think you should grab one on sale night, and I'm such a nice person that if you don't like it I'll take it off your hands for you.

2/28 for the Woodvils eh? Hopefully I will get my taxes back in time...not because I can't afford one now. It will just be easier to hide how much I really paid for it if I have some extra money in the mix... Ya know, I just remembered a little account I have in my son's name

Thanks,Guess I jumped the gun with that one. I think I got a little too excited and my brain shut off after I saw 2/28. It's okay though, it can be like my rough estimate date. I need to make sure the Hubs is fully prepared and understands why I need another Reo, he doesn't "get it" yet. He will...

As for the next Woodvil run, I think that Rob had mentioned late February. And then there was a post by him that he us running a little behind. I think that he is making about 400 this time but y'all correct me if I am wrong. Hoping to snag just one to add to my collection. [emoji6]

I could be wrong, but I think Rob has recently mentioned that he's not going to make February, probably more like March.
At least I think he's mentioned that....

Good evening everybody here in Reoville! I'm having a really laid back day today. I have my car back, new tires all around. Did my shopping last night after getting my car back so all I need to do today is relax and play. And that is a good thing at the moment.

Pretty good Scott. Yours? I just now figured out you got a tablet. Are you using it much? I have a couple and my Nexus 7 is running on my desk next to the keyboard. I bought a case for it with a blue tooth keyboard. If you want to use USB devices you can buy a cable, cheap, that will allow you to use mice, usb drives etc. It's called an OTG cable and they run about 6 dollars or somewhere near that. It has to be an OTG (that's the cable type, on one end, it's only about 5" long) it has a micro USB that plugs in where your charging cable goes, and on the other end is a regular USB female connection that accepts normal USB connectors like those found on mice, etc.

What kind of software are you running on it. Tablets can be a total waste of money. They can also be well worth it if you set them up to make your life easier.

I have a musically oriented app centered around guitar chords and scales. Very impressive piece of software and I've found nothing like it for the PC. So if I'm practicing something it can be very handy to have that up and running on my desk, in addition to my regular computer.

Does yours have a webcam? Ever use Skype? A lot of questions I have, no?

I have managed to get loads of things done today loafed about all day, waiting hand and foot on HRH.

Moved coil making day forward, because obviously that's the cause of the cough

To say i am bored is rather an understatement - i was even watching a rather scientific test on Youtube of which rotary polisher damaged car paint the most! Which is rather amusing if you consider that the last time i even washed my car was back in September.

ya my tab came with that cable and yes it has a cam but not a very good one LOL and it has android 4.2 on it which i understand is kinda old

and i got it mainly for surfing and email on the go

I bought a Samsung tablet once - used to play golf on it when seated in a vooping style. Never did figure out how to use it so gave it to HRH.

For her birthday i bought her a new phone - well it's a phablet really, phone/tablet hybrid and it does more than any phone ever previously made, except, it seems, to get out and earn money.

A lot of people don't even use what smart phones offer. Makes no sense to pay a ton of cash for one if that's the case. Me, I get a lot of use out of it. Run my calendar on it which is much more sophisticated than the ones sometimes found on non-smart phones, alarm for waking up, music tutorials, backing tracks, decent weather analysis. I've got a telephoto zoom lens for it and it takes awesome pictures from a distance. It also holds all the bits of info I put into evernote (which is anything I want to remember) and syncs to my desktop, tablet, google and Evernote. So it works as a decent backup device for my really important files.

I had to find the software that did what I wanted and I needed to change my habits to incorporate a smart phone. Once you become proficient you see just how convenient things can be. Again, not for everyone. Certainly for me. Just don't send me a text. I hate spending 15 minutes typing back and forth for a conversation that would take 2 minutes, if that, on the phone. Kids these days

Went to a wedding some years back, and the minister asked if anyone knew why the groom always stood on the right side.

Very glad it is finally get warmer here in texas!!
