i finally decided to leave the house this morning for the first time this week, and a bolt of lightning lands a couple hundred feet away. lightning all over this morning. wth? this is Sacramento. weather is supposed to be boring here.

yeh. i had forgotten that lightning terrifies me. back in my thirties, i was near Flagstaff, AZ, during a major storm. several strikes came real close. tingly close. i ended up huddling under a freeway overpass for 6 hours. the sheer beauty of the close lightning strikes were a close match for the terror.

Dang. glad you're ok! Every time I hear someone calling you Dennis it messes with me. I look at your avi, and I read as far as mama, then have a really hard time remembering you're a guy. lol ya probably didn't need to know that though huh lol

Cuz yur a sweetheart! Yeah, that was my thinking. Never got verified, so haven't seen classie prices, but most folks say that many of them don't factor in things like that. They aren't a lot cheaper there than new. But I am determined to figure out this paypal thing, and get verified........also, I now have an opportunity to dip my toes into diy, which I didn't think was going to happen for quite awhile.......and that was my next step on the road to Reo, so I'm just clippin right along!! I'll be here officially before we all know it. lol

Just a suggestion, but you can also get verified through Ebay if you are active on it as well... That is how I became verified.

I've been buying and selling on Ebay for 10 years. I've been using Paypal all that time for everything. Neither is a big deal to set up. You don't have to use Paypal on Ebay on many of the auctions. Some will say "Paypal only" but in the ad they will tell you what forms of payment they except. Many take credit cards and money orders too.

Hey Darrel, if your visiting a friend or relative an have any trades or purchases then that would be a good time to save shipping cost. I have a pet peeve when it comes to shipping cost between USA and Canada. Priority Mail from California to New York is $6 (3000 miles but from Seattle to Calgary is $19 (670 miles),
