The part of Canada that doesn't get enuf Snow :(
I really want to visit your and Papa's areas. I'll be honest - i'm not interested in the part of Canada I'm close to, hence why I've never been. But I'm more than interested in BC, Alberta, the Yukon...got some wandering to do, yes, I sure do :)

I love the yukon. I went in April at spring break up. Everything was white the locals had hardly seen anyone for months because of winter and they have to have been the friendliest people I've ever met. Beutiful up there.im not sure what part of Van papa is at but if it's the city I wouldn't be upset if I never saw it again. But some of the surrounding areas are beautiful. Here on the island it can take years of travelling here and you'd never see it all. Most don't realize how big an island it is.

Good to hear - the Yukon looks to me like one of the most beautiful places on earth. Can't wait to go check it out. I hear you on the city - I despise cities, of any size really but namely large ones. I literally cannot stand them. That said, I do want to visit Vancouver - for the beauty aspect, it does look like a beautiful city.

First and foremost, I simply must visit the national parks of western Canada. They look absolutely divine!

I work in the city but live in North Van backing onto 100 acres of trees, glorious trees, overlooking a river valley. You would never know there was a city looking out our living room window - nothing but trees, bears, skunks, squirrels, and coyotes. Lotta folks in Reoville live in amongst wilderness - I'm just happy I can find it while still holding a 'city' job.

Lived on the Island for a time as well - 4 or 5 small cities north of Justice. Ocean, trees, mountains - loved it.

Thank you brother, I'll absolutely take you up on that one day. Yes, I'd go berzerk in your mountains, there's no question about it. I'd be in heaven (already am, but probably more so / different kind of heaven :))

Ya? Me neither - I don't drink anything but coffee, almond milk and water :) ok fruit juices sometimes, hot chocolate, tea...

Wakonda...

STOP drinkin the wakonda!!!!! lol I actually tried almond milk for the first time a couple weeks ago. Was pretty good. Do you make yours or buy it? The one I tried was store bought, but have watched vids on making it, and it seems easy enough. I do drink cokes once in awhile, but mostly drink water. Course I do love some sailor jerry's rum sometimes too and drambuie, but can't afford that.

I'm in Vancouver - it you can do a tall triple no-foam mocha decaf latte with soy milk in a grande cup, you're in. These days, only hipsters drink beer.

To give you an idea of how self-absorbed Vancouverites can be, I recently overheard this in a Starbucks from a 20-something woman...

"Oh, shoot. Look. This Starbucks is so stupid. Not only did they get the wrong drink in the wrong sized cup, they put the wrong name on it, too. God, they're dumb."

It's things like this that keep peeps like Justice away.

I buy it - Blue Diamond Vanilla, unsweetened usually. I mix it with my coffee - yum! Making it, though, is something that never occurred to me...now I'm gonna have to watch some vids and consider doing it! Thanks for the idea sis!!!

I...I can't stop...

Now, you go spending a lot of time making Almond Milk you will have to give something else up. Store bought sure is quick and easy...
