ok, think I solved my poppin problem. The hits were getting harsher. Thought I was squonking enough, every couple vapes. But.....I took the cap off and watched....I wasn't squonking LONG enough. Popping gone and vape is back to being pleasant!

I just did a little experiment here:
I filled half a bottle with the 12mg juice and the other half with straight PG. So essentially it's 6mg now. Original juice was 50/50 PG,VG. Now it's 75%pg 25%VG. I like it! Since the RxW gives me more nic (it seems to me) I'm going to be interested to see if notice the decrease in nic. I like the flavor, a bit less throat hit, just smoother in general. Still getting the same amount of vapor. I'll vape this today and if the nic level is too low I can always add some. Or I could just vape more juice than normal but since I cut it with PG there really isn't much of an increase in cost of the modified juice it won't cost me anymore than my regular months supply.
I'll keep y'all posted on how this works out.
edit: actually if this works out it'll cut the amount of juice I need to buy in half. So would certainly be less expensive.
