I travel a lot, A LOT, and Washington state is one of my favs!
I love the Seattle area! Actually I always wanted to live either there or Maine...yeah I know, BIG contrast, but I love the coast being from So. Calif....I just hated, hate the over crowding and cost of living....so I moved to TN. HA!
We do love it here...only 6 mil in the whole state! Lots of open spaces! Very lush and green!
I live 30 miles N.E. of Memphis in a small town, can hunt right out my back door!

Hey all, not here for long, just want to say I soaked the feed tube in vodka overnight and rinsed it good. Still has an awkward taste, but not as bad. Think I'll just replace the tube when the parts come in and see what happens. Kinda bummed about it, but not much I can do. lol
Where is everyone! It is awful quiet. I have been gone all afternoon. I was looking for my mom a Mother's Day present. I finally found a couple of things. She loves plants. So I went to a really nice nursery a good ways from here, with a friend of mine. It was a good day.

So, I received the two bottom-feed Derringer clones the other day. The 510 connection in the bottom of one of them was flush with the base...impossible to get to fire and they're round holes, tho too large for an allen wrench so that I could adjust it out a little. I built my first coil on it and thought I'd made a bad one! Tho it metered out all right on the ohms. meter. I tried the second one and it was fine, tho I know now that I don't like the airy draw on them, even tho the vape was all right and the taste,too. I felt almost like I was sucking air.
Back to the tried n true Reomizers
I've had contact with the Smog distributer and he said he'd send me a replacement, but unless I can figure out how to get a tighter draw, I'm gonna sell them.

I noticed that the draw on the bf derringer was looser than the one on my G-box (non bf). I'm wondering if it's still worth the hassle to play with this bf derringer or not.Hey Kelly!

I like my RM2, but love the non-bf derringer. I have a feeling I may be back to the RM2.

You should be able to close the air flow down a lot! Just leave a tiny bit of one hole open if it's the one I'm thinking about with the 3 holes
No Kay! You put the top cap down over the holes you don't need or
want. Did you do a single coil? If you did, you turn the afc ring so that the holes are directly in front of the coil. The back of that, should have NO HOLES showing. You can do single coil, or dual coil, this way. If it is in dual coil, have both sides with the air holes in front of the coil. If wide open is too much, then cover another hole.
My Derringer has two holes open, and one closed. The back side is closed off, because I am in single coil. If you
build it right, you will love it. The taste is better in dual coil, but I like single coil better. The dual coil was just too hot for me, but I didn't play with it. I went to single coil, and liked it, so I kept it that way. I keep thinking I will go back to dual coil, but so far I haven't. I have the cheap clone, and I had to fine sand the fire out of that atty. It had sharp places all over it. The afc ring won't stay when you pull the top cap off, which bugs me. But still I love that atty. I use it on my SMPL mech mod. It is a clone, but I love the SMPL mech. The two make a wonderful pairing.
Kay, you might only like ONE hole open, the air flow will go down quite a bit. Remember if you are in single coil, close off the back side by turning the ring.
If one hole is too much in single coil, you could try raising your ohms. Just try single coil first, play with it, until you find something you like. Then after you enjoy it for a while, you can tweak it. Then move on to dual coil if you want. I must have edited this message 5 times. Sorry about that. I hope this helps you. (and maybe others)

I received one from Smog, too. I'll play with it tomorrow, hope it's ok, it's the only one I have. I did get my mini from Rob today!!! All re-done and fixed up, can't wait to try it out. Sorry you got a bad one.Hey Kelly!
