Good morning, Reoville! One more to go, and it looks like I might actually get Friday off! Thanksgiving will be a quiet day. My sister has to work as does her husband, our house being in a constant state of construction right now isn't fit to host dinner, my father's house is too small, so we'll fix up some stuff, and take some over to dad's house and at least visit for awhile. That's ok, we went Sunday to my dad's church and they had a huge Thanksgiving potluck and we all got to spend some time together and eat like fools, but it sure was good!

I think the intent of the holiday was met, even though ya did not hit it on the right day.
Who cares what day ya dedicate to spending with family and close friends as long as you remember to do it. With or with out a holiday.

I know exactly what you mean. As soon as I get stuff in my shopping cart, I have to sit on my credit card to muffle the screams. I'm a pretty nosy b(#*ch, what does your screen name mean. I've been trying to figure it out just like I do some peoples license plates. I know what lucky means but what about the x16? Inquiring minds want to know. . .

Yes I'm sure there are ladies present but don't mind me. I not easily offended. And the rat is part of my name and I have always thought they were cute. The other part "2chat2", well I'm old sort of and I've never met a stranger. I am one of those that people come up to in Walmart and tell me their secrets and personal problems. It's more of a gift than a curse because I love people when I venture out of my recliner.

My small family has decided they had rather grill out steaks than have turkey which is fine by me because I loooooooooove a good steak. My son went to Costco and bought 2 huge pumpkin pies and whipping cream so all I have to do is fix all the sides they have requested. Thanksgiving for me is nice because I cook, but we eat together every night. I may have missed maybe 10 days this year. You're never to old to be a "daddy's girl".

We have our family meal on Sunday after Thanksgiving. This year my d-i-l has passed bird duty and the majority of the dinner plans to my daughter. She asked me be the kitchen helper (her fist try at a big dinner). Passing down the family recipes to the girls that my Grandma taught me is my favorite part of the holidays.

Okay since your so sure what the Lucky is, (are you really? Wagers have been lost on that one), the _x16 only represents the day of the month I was born on.
