Just put my reo on a multi meter and found what many of you probably already know:
Coil resistance: 1.2 ohms. Touching negative lead on multi meter to the spring and the positive end to the positive contact reads 1.2 (it jumped around a bit, but settled between 1.2-1.3).
Battery was at 4v (LG HE2), touching 510 it read 4v. Under 1.2ohm load it measured about 3.82v from the posts on the atty. Not sure how much of that "voltage drop" was the mod and how much was the battery... but there it is.

In other news I just but ReadyxWick in my cyclone clone (say that 5 times fast.. fasttech K6, 2 1/16 air flow holes drilled in front of the coil) and it will be a LONG time until I rip this build out (3/32, 7 wraps, 1.2 ohms, set at 45 degree angle) :)

Okay another cyclone happy customer. I was thinking of getting one until I modified my Plume Veil Clone to bottom feeding.

Okay another cyclone happy customer. I was thinking of getting one until I modified my Plume Veil Clone to bottom feeding.

Cy-clone (I'm going with that from now on) is great - awesome flavor (started with a single 1/16 airflow hole, and I think I prefer that for mouth to lung hits, so will probably pick up another). The bottom airflow in the clone is what feeds the juice up, so aside from a little drilling, its BF ready. Also, its under $5 on fastech. I like it so much I think I'll get an authentic... when I can muster the funds (IE stop buying vape stuff for a while...) I've been running this for over a month and have been happy.
I modded a Tobeco Tobh to BF, and it feeds way better than the k6, but I think the build I did on it needs to be torn out as it tasted like it was boiling the juice (probably bad wicking 7/64 coil with 3mm readyxwick). I need to rip it out and try again, just have been enjoying the k6 enough that thats not a priority. Got a zenith BF on the way from angelcigs... so I'm sure that tobh will sit in its compartment for quite a bit longer.
I'm pretty sure readyxwick is my new wicking material.. its a bit more of a pain to wick with, but you can run with the same wick for A LONG time and the flavor is awesome. Now I just need to find someone to PIF my remaining 150 sheets of JC to :)

Good morning, Reoville!

I really should be sleeping, but.... yep- you guessed it-- Laurin totally screwed up my sleep schedule.

Has anyone else got this weird long-lasting flu thing? Spend a day or two with a sore throat and coughing. Then a day or so just fine. Then it comes back. My daughter is going on 5-6 weeks and i think i'm up to a month.

i did finally manage to get off my lazy zzz and package up a few things i've been threatening to mail. with any luck, i'll drop them off at the PO tomorrow.

i do miss the view of the estuary....

Good morning, REOvil!

Happy belated vapiversary, Fleet!

Hope you feel better soon, Dennis! My folks got the crud before Christmas and finally felt well enough for company on New Years. They were still hacking though.

Great to see Sashwa! I've missed you!

How's Dora, Darrel?

Everything is good here. Been raining for a week, stinks because I started a project where I'm supposed to get a good picture of one of my girls every week, and I don't do indoor pictures very well. Glad I got this one last week before the rain started-

I ran across that scorched taste too, until I exposed more of the outside of my coils, and allowed more air to travel around the coil, in lieu of just basically up one side. I found that saves battery too, as the coil does not need to ramp up as much.

Good morning everyone!Jen, that pic is absolutely stunning!

Mama...I too have had this cursed flu/cold combo off n on for more than a couple of weeks. By what I'm hearing, I can expect it to last longer. Feel ok one day and then I'm sick for days...

Sure saps your strength!

Scoot...I'm glad you had better luck with NewEgg than I did! I still have the POC...gonna list it soon on Craigslist. I'm too pc illiterate to try to figure out how to get it to work right...and Mama gave up on me :D
S'alright, I got an all-in-one pc just a while back and I like it, tho it's a Windows-8.1 and a bit ( for me:facepalm:) hard to figure out. It's a touch screen/mouse config...so of course i use the mouse...
