I've had a flu shot the last 10 years and haven't had the flu in 10 years

^^^Interesting... I've had a flu shot 3 times about 7-10 yrs ago and it was the only time I had gotten the flu. I moved from 32+ yrs in California back to Illinois 2 yrs ago and haven't even had a cold yet!!!

No flu for me in a long time (knock on wood). I did pick up a cold from sitting in the germ infested Dr office before Christmas but it was just the annoying kind not a bad one.

Me too. Just had a flu shot last week. I know it doesn't work against all strains but it does offer some protection. I get them every year.

Good morning all. Been a okay night. I hope I helped some people. At least I try. It is something productive to do when you can't sleep and there is no one to bother.

KAY - I finished Deadwood and just loved it. I would have made the ending a bit different but other than that, I really enjoyed it. Pretty sure I know what I would have been doing if I lived back then (and it ain't mining).

I ended up googling all the character and they really did not go by history much at all but I learned something anyway. I am a googling idiot. You're going to have to tell me what else you watch. I still haven't gotten back into watching Walking Dead. A friend recommended The Honorable Woman and I have seen the first episode. Not bad. I saw where it won a Golden Globe award the other night. Oh well, I'm sure I will find something but you sure know how to pick good ones.

KAREN - This is only the 2nd time I have gotten the flu since I began getting flu shots and that has been 36 years so that's not to bad. I'm not even sure it was the flu I had. I ran fever for a the best part of a day and night but mainly a cough and sore throat that just keeps coming and going and hanging on. Sure has been a lot of people getting sick this year, so glad you have avoided it.

SCOTT - Love the new avi and the hat. Not everyone looks good in hats but you do. I wish I could wear them. I did use to think I looked pretty good in a black cowboy hat when I was a young thing. I need to come up with a different avatar. I am such a boring girl.

FLEET - You have just forgotten all about me but a big hug to you anyway, hope you are doing well and playing some great tunes.

And of course keeping warm.
