oh wow, thanks so much for posting this. I was thinking of Torey, she made my avi and does a great job, but this guy has a great thread, and so nice of him to do this. He must love it to post to do it for everyone!! I bet that keeps him busy. Bookmarked this so I'll be ready when I get my Reo. Took the first prep step today, got a couple cheap bf atties ordered. Not the ones I wanted, but at least I'll have something I can use til I can get something I like better. Next on the list, break into diy. Keep ploddin along one step at a time, and I'll get there!!

found out from the local BM that my nova tanks were discontinued and they were not making coils for them any more so i picked me up a new wickless Aspire tank pretty nice tank gona get more :)

wickless tank? gonna have to look that up. The vivi nova, or bdc? I've got a plastic bdc (had 2 gave one to my nephew), but wanted to get a couple glass ones, and need some more heads, so wondering if these are the ones you're talking about.

Make sure you can't gt the coils online. I had a B&M tell me one time they don't make Kicks anymore, then proceeded to show me what I needed to buy instead.

You can make better coils yourself and use the existing heads.

I know you certainly can Scott- i have watched you make coils! As far as tanks go, i like the Orchid - get a cheap clone of that and make your own coils for it - it can handle duals.

My old Silver Bullet is used to dry burn coils and fire new ones to check they glow evenly. That's all. I keep it out of sentiment because i started with it.

I use an old nemesis for the same purposes and for similarly sentimental reasons. That thing helped get me in to rebuildables.
