My god, they rebuilt her... better than she was before... stronger... faster <cue $6million Man music... dah dah de dah>

Hope she rebounds quickly and well, Justice.

Ya pretty much any other dog I wouldn't have said yes to this but she is very special. A definite ambassador to the breed

When Zoomie hurt his back, the vet was very stern with us and wanted me to crate him for 6 weeks. Not happening. While Jasmine crates easy, Zoomie does not. He was not crate trained, and he doesn't respond well to it....that's tactfully saying that he freaks the eff out when crated. It was just easier to remind him to stay in his laundry basket. It's not like he was in the mood to move around much anyway with the pain killers and the pain. But a full size dog like Dora is probably a bit harder to deal with when she gets antsy.

I crate trained her Ive never crated a dog before and I hate doing it She hates it but tolerates it. In all honesty one big reason I hate it if there was ever a fire here she could get out so I can't wait to get rid of it

Ya....we don't crate ours when we're not here. Honestly, the only time we use them are if there are dog sensitive people or strangers over. We crate them and put them in another room so they can have peace and quiet while being crated. Zoomie has gotten to the point where he usually settles down after a very long while, but I still don't like it.

True...but for those that come here we know ....we only crate the dogs if they have allergies. Oh and kids. Our dogs were mistreated by children before we got them, so they are not kid friendly, so we just keep them apart. Besides, most of the children that come through here are not dog friendly either. Easier to be safe than sorry (I would feel more sorry for my dog if a child antagonized my dog to the point of being bitten.) Truth be told, we rarely have guests, so it's not something we do often. As far as workers go, we keep the dogs away from them so they aren't impeded. We want them in and out as quickly & efficiently as possible.

Our dogs go into their crates to sleep but they are usually outside or running around inside during the day. They actually enjoy the crates though. Often I will be looking for them and they will be just chillin in them relaxing.

Ya, Jasmine likes her crate. I can't say for certain she was crate trained, but at her last home, the only time she felt safe was when she was in her crate (her previous owners ...the entire family mistreated her badly.) She likes her crate for when she's not feeling well or is scared of fireworks. I keep it under my desk with the door open at all times. The rest of the time, she hangs out in her laundry basket (while I'm working) or in my lap (when I'm not.) She's the brown one.

Before my beagle were stolen several years ago, they would run to their crates when ever someone knocked on the door. Gave them a chance to calm down before addressing whom ever knocked on the door. A lot less jumping and scratching.

I miss them beagles.

Ugh....I can't get past the first part of the first sentence. I can not imagine. Only happened to me once, and I promptly stole my dog back when I saw him in someone else's truck about a week later.

We've had a rash of people stealing dogs here when dogs are in vehicles. Most I believe at over zealous dog saviours. I always warn them not to try it with mine. They are all very protective of their truck. Bailey still has razor sharp teethe. Simbas canines are 1.5 inches + long and well Dora she's a pitty. She will die before giving up. It would be a bad scene for the thieves. Now if I'm in the city I lock the truck to protect the thieves. If they break a window they deserve what they will most definitely get.

Howdy y'all!!

ABSOLUTELY. . .

That's another thing I used to do before vaping. I need to go back there and check out things. It was fun at one time. 8 months pregnant was a good time for me. I road a Harley, saw Alabama in concert and went to see a male strip show. I miss riding.

I never got to see Alabama in concert, but always wanted to. I bout drove off the highway driving through Ky going to see my son graduate boot camp when I saw a huge marquis that said they were in concert. Would have driven off the highway, if the hwy I was on hadn't been wayyyyy up in the air!! lol

No nuppin yet. But, thinking about it. I'm very happy with my RM2 for the time being.

Guess what I have coming in vapemail? A red REO 2.0. It should be here either Saturday or Monday. :rickroll:

I'm so excited that I can't sleep. But, I must!!!! I have to work tomorrow!

I saw that someone was forced to make a cake for a carry-in, pitch-in, or whatever you may call it. I couldn't help but think of Trunker.

Blown acl's. They had to do reconstructive surgery as with all the over breeding of pittys they often have malformed knee joints. So changed the angle of the knee. It sucks and a lot of money but this one is so worth it. And yes lots of stainless in there

Our ancient 14 yr old basset hound prefers spending her resting time in her crate. The door is rarely ever closed so she comes and goes as she pleases. Her bed and bowls are in it so it's "her room". The grand kids all know if she is in there to leave her alone. If she does happen to be awake when someone comes to the door, she will answer the knock with a woof or 2 then waddle off to her room.
