Morning Reoville :)

So, against my better judgment I put in an offer on that beautiful LPG I was ogling yesterday. It comes with a Hornet that I am not opposed to leaving out of the deal. If I were to go with another atty, what should I go with? My other Reo is a Woodvil so I haven't had the LP experience yet. The Odin's seem to get a lot of love around here. I need some help.

I am by no means an expert, I don't even like the term 'expert'. Sounds like an undesirable bodily function to me.
Which RBA you buy really depends on your vaping style. If you prefer lower wattage (8 - 12 watts or so) and a smoother, cooler vape, then the RM2 is a great little atty. The Cyclone can provide the same vape in single coil mode, only for twice the $. If you can still find them, the Hornet is also good in single coil mode. These are for M-T-L (Mouth to Lung) Vapers. The Cyclone/ Cyclops (with Air Flow Control, or AFC) and the RM4 are very good 'intermediate' RBA's. They work well as either a single coil MTL device, and can also be used as dual coil, sub-ohming devices. I personally did not care for the RM5. It is a Cloud Chaser. The air ports are low to the deck, making over-squonking a problem with leakage.
Chowderhead1972 (aka Tom) does a little thing called Catfish Atty Mods, that can be found here on the ECF. If you are interested in some serious sub-ohm, cloud chasing lung hitters, then go pay him a visit. After careful research I purchased a BF Veritas from Tom, use it strictly for single, horizontal coil setup, and the flavor it produces is great.
There are subforums that discuss RBA's and Tanks. I strongly suggest doing a little research. Maybe even check out a few Videos by Todd, PBushido (?) or even our own Super_X_Drifter. Take your time, and choose wisely. Unless you are actually interested in a 'Bone Box' collection of unused atties, it wouldn't hurt to look carefully at what you want and what all is out there.

Thank you so much Papaw, your response actually helped me out a lot! I have a RM2, which I love, but I was thinking seeing as this new Reo will be a LP I could experiment a little. Now I'm thinking I might get the Hornet it comes with and wait and research what atty I really want with it instead of leaving it out of the deal and having to rush to find one. Don't want a topless Reo.

This way too, if I don't like the Hornet I can sell or trade it when I figure out what I do want. I get a little excited sometimes and tend to get ahead of myself. Thanks for the help P.
