Evening, All! Work was interesting and positively dreadful at the same time today. lol, but what's a job when you get to come home to a wiggly waggly puppy dog!?
I had supper out with the parents, totally enjoyed my one beer, came home and put my blood into a new coil for Little Blue, and wore out the dog!

It was interesting to say the least. Not sure if my favorite part was, "Hey, why is that light flashing...and why can't we get into the room?" or the, "well, you won't know your schedule ahead of time...it'll be a day to day thing, at most, we'll give you two days notice on when you're working...oh, and the project ends in 4 weeks, not 6."
lol. Yea...

Hello all, first time posting here. I'm sick. I haven't even received my first Reo yet (should be here in the AM, huzzah!) but I've put myself on two lists for Chowderhead attys (Rogue and Manta V2) and just grabbed a Chalice III from Reo mods. I think I need to lock the wallet away somewhere for, oh, 6 months or so  Can't wait to give this squonking thing a whirl!

morning/afternoon everyone :) The day started out iffy with rain but it's cleared off now. Windows open, birds chirping, and found tracking for reo mail in the email.

The other day at the store I scored big time in the meat dept at the grocery. They had just put several family packs of thin sliced steaks perfect for making jerky with over to the manager special shelf . I just filled 7 trays for the dehydrator and that's only half.

Wahoooooooo on both counts!!!

Am I the only one here that likes black jelly beans? [/B]

I love black jelly beans!!! But........I haven't been able to find them here the last few years, even at Easter time, dunno what's up with that!!! Thought my son and ex just weren't lookin hard enough when they said they couldn't fine em, so last year I went out and looked, a couple days before Easter, and not a black one to be had! Jerks! And on amazon, they're $7-10 a pound.

If you're in Texas, you'd better bunny-hop on this and get writing.

T

Did it yesterday!

I hit 40 and a few months later I had to buy bigger waste jeans

lol My dad retired from a job where he walked 10-15 miles a day (auto plant inspection foreman) and then got married, then swore that pants he'd had for years suddenly shrunk! lol

Oh Yeah! And since you brought it up here's another song for BBQ and Texans and all those that like both:

Never heard that but really liked it! So kewl to have a DJ on both my home threads!!

Wow, I know a job is a job, and I worked many that I literally would have rather taken a beating than go to, but this one sounds like a real prize!

Gotz to be honest...our kids love to come over and cook in our kitchen!

Especially the daughters....

We have, (I bought) my wife and I just about everything one could want in a home kitchen!

We even bought one of those fancy electric pressure cookers...had to return it...got it during the Christmas holidays...go to use it and TADA...nada!

Okies, I love me my analog stove top pressure cookers!

As long as it seals and you have a fire, it cooks!

That's awesome! Sounds like the kitchen in my dream home.

best part is......you get to spend quality time there with your girls

Oh no...not me.... LOL

The oldest daughter and boy can cook, but she blows up the kitchen....(my wife hates it).

Daughter #2 eats like a bird (I think she was switched at birth...LOL) cooks ...Kraft Mac and Cheese!

When the women folk occupy the kitchen I'm hunting, fishing, drunk....

I even stay clear if the Mrs. is doing the holiday thing...of course unless I'm asked....

Now when it's just us...we cook together ;)

My big brother got a degree from a culinary school and he taught me a lot, wife can cook REALLY well...

We both learned a lot from our parents too!

Life is good! :thumb:

Oldest daughter and hubby and oldest boy and wife, and the grand kids....life is great!

Best part of grand kids is we can give 'em back...LOL
