Reo Lounge Part V

Fairly easy for me to build. I use single coils and have been running about 0.6ohm with 26g and 24g 2.4mm ID.
Only had a little bit of trouble the other day, but that's because it was the first time I used 24g.

The 24g is sort of experimental for me. I'm so use to 28g and 26g, but I wanted to try outside my usual comfort zone...it's a little warmer than I'm use to with the 24g, but it's not unpleasant. Love my derringers!

No the Derringer has to be modded for about $30.00, but still after $12.95 for the atty and $30.00 maching, $42.95 for a BF atty is pretty sweet!

I think anything larger than 26ga is coat hanger, but 20 and 22 for sure is coat hanger! LOL!

What kind of resistance are you getting with 24ga.? (not much)....

That derringer was 0.55ohms.

This is what my calculator said:

It settled at 0.55ohms. (Re-checked it after firing it and tightening things up)

I kinda had no choice on the parts, order them, or just put my Reo up...that ain't gonna happen...I'm already going through withdrawal after 1 day!

Actually I did. My method of coil wrapping:
1) Put it in the calculator to double check what I want.
2) Wrap the coil and put it on the atty that's on the meter and check resistance w/and w/o cap
3) Put atty on mod (non-REO attys go on regulated first, REO mods go on REO), fire, and tighten up coils
4) Put atty on meter and double check resistance (I don't trust meter on my mods) w/ and w/o cap.
5) Put atty on mod it's suppose to go on, wick, juice, vape

It may be a little ...., but I like my fingers.
Edit to add: I refuse to build below 0.5ohms. Tried other people's capes that are below that - too hot. And again: I like my fingers.

After MUCH debate, and watching this video

I'm going to order a couple REO's tomorrow.

They seem like the best vaporizer available, to me anyway.

Low profile REO Grand.

I haven't seen the spec's on them, are they variable VW?..or straight mechanicals?

Reo' are straight mechanical mods.

They used to offer a VV but no more.

I have VV/VW mods and still prefer my Reo!

since getting my coil master i have found that nothing beats a reo with a coilmaster coil i put away my caravellas
