BTW...your pkg. was mailed yesterday!

And i'm so whipped from the unusual activity yesterday that i'm just chillin' out today..the puter to the recliner:D

First thing this morning , around 8:30 I managed to get ahold of a vet and got to take Lilbit( I like the name so that's what she's gonna be called) to get checked out, then I had to go to a pet supply store to get all the things a kittycat needs, then get her back home, then return the rental car.

Whew...I'm whipped!

so how did you end up getting adopted by that cat?

Glad you asked:D

I was unloading the trunk and saw her sitting by my door, I chased her off, went back to the car a second time, got by the door and chased her off again, the third time she just came on in the house! And she was so skinny!! And pretty! and wounded in the head...I couldn't resist her...

Yesterday on my shopping spree i got an Artistic Wire gizmo at Michaels, the nuts n bolts at Lowes so I can try making coils with it,probably today as Lilbit might not disturb me much...she just eats n sleeps for now:D
And follows me whatever room I'm in..and plops down n goes to sleep..

I'll be interested to see how you like it. Way after we'd talked, and you'd left, I saw a post of someone asking if anyone wanted one of those, but it was too late. And you may not have wanted to wait anyhow. Were you able to use the coupon?

Awwwwww well I'm glad you got one. that'll be a lot easier than a dog, and I know you were wanting a pet.

My GD is gonna be upset cuz she likes to bring her dog over for a couple days a week and she says her dog doesn't like cats...but her parents have two of them and the dog is over there a lot also!
Guess she'll just have to get over it:D

You'd be a good one to ask. Most of the folks I've known who had kidney stones were men. men say it's got to be as painful as childbirth, and I do believe it's very painful, but what do you think on that on having done both.

Deb, most of the stones I've had, were not as bad as childbirth. (not even close) The first time I found out I had kidney stones, I was in my mid 40's, I think. I had woken from a nap, with a back ache. It got worse, then a little better, then worse. I decided to go to the movies with my kids. During the movie, the pain came in waves. This was the late show. Finally it was almost like labor pains. After the movie, I came home, and took a shower. I thought maybe hot water would help. It didn't help, so I told the kids I have to go to the ER. I felt silly going to the ER over a back ache. But the pain was intense. I was there at the ER for what seemed like forever. They eyed me suspiciously like I was just there for drugs, like I'm an addict. That ticked me off. I had NEVER been to ER, or any doctor, requesting pain meds before! They said they would have to do x-rays before they could give me anything. By that time, I was rolling all around the table, I was in so much pain. It was like labor pain then. The x-rays came back. I had a stone in each kidney. One stone was as big as a Robin's egg. Funny I didn't feel that one. The one that bothered me was very small in comparison. Some have very jagged edges, that just cut you up. So they finally gave me some morphine. A few hours later, they sent me home. I then had two procedures, to blast the stones. I passed stones for quite a while. None of them were like child birth. Then another time I got a large stone. (it was pretty painful )I wasn't able to pass it for several days. So some stones can be extremely painful, others, just some pain.

KAY...CONGRATS ON THE CUTE LITTLE KITTY! She is such a little doll!
