oh no.......yeah larry beat me to the pga, like everclear, or if you don't have that try some rubbing alcohol, just wash it good afterwards, or maybe some vinegar and water. Some folks boil em, but I think you'd have to take off the oring and maybe the insulator, not sure. Not even sure if you can take off the insulator. lol But that's a lotta trouble anyhow.
Im in Indiana. The piece was coming from somewhere in MI so I guess AP was unavoidable. It just seems anything that goes through there get's hung up or misrouted somehow.
I had blueberry flavored liquid in the bottle, but I think that I may not have gotten off all of the machine oil when I washed it the first time - I put a dab of soap on my hand, cupped my hands with some water, and shook my hands with the atty over the sink. So I have no idea. lol
I didn't soak mine, though, so dunno. It's kind of my luck today - had a great lunch with a former professor, bought mom flowers for mother's day...usually have to have 1 thing go wrong a day. lol
I use a lot of Everclear when soaking or cleaning. I never use rubbing alcohol on anything I vape but I suppose it is fine if you rinse it really good. It is my understanding that there are harmful chemicals in it. Just me. If there is a smell that I cannot get out, I simply clean it with denture tablets that I got from the dollar store. Has worked well for me so far. Just my 3¢ (inflation) and what I do.
