I'm new to mods. But I know for a fact I want a Reo. I just don't know which one. And, I can only buy one (limited funds).

I love the stealth of a mini. It would fit easily in my hand and can almost be palmed. A 3ml bottle is bigger than the 1.5ml I currently have (current XL Clearomizer user). But alas, I'm tired of filling things up and having to recharge all the time.

I love that the Grande has a big 6ml bottle that could last me a day or two and a bigger battery. But I'm worried it might be a little big and not easy to hide or hold all the time.

1. Grande users: do you find the size small enough to hold in your hand all the time or is it a bit clunky? Did you buy a Mini also to have something smaller?
2.The Grande looks to use a 18650 battery 2200mAh, and the Mini uses a 14500 battery 900mAh. Does the Grande really last twice as long as the Mini battery wise?
3. I see extra bottles are extremely cheap. Would it be possible to have 4-5 of them full and swap out easily? Or, is it a chore? I love having Clearomizers because I swap them out all the time to use different flavors in just seconds.

The price looks to be the same for the Grande and the Mini ($134). Egads! What a conundrum! And to make it worse, the web site says he will get Grande's before Mini's. So the whole question may be a mute point. I'm not sure I could wait weeks for the Mini. Any advice? Is smaller size better or longer battery life and more juice? I'm so torn!

I would say it depends on whether you vape more than 3 mil per day, have small or big hands, care whether you need 3 batteries or just one for an all day vape. I am female, have smaller hands, and vape 3 mil/day. I LOVE my Mini which is just a little bigger than a zippo. OTOH, if the size of the Grand works for you, there are NO disadvantages. Yes, the battery lasts all day+ and you can use a 5v or 6v option if you'd like.

Hi I only have a mini, but must say I am very happy with it. The battery lasts me all day, with moderate vaping, so it's no issue to pit a fresh one in each morning, I tend to only chain vale when I am drinking, so one 3ml bottle lasts me all day. I used to take a spare 3ml with me just in case, and they can be swapped over in about ten seconds so no problem. For me the smaller size and portability is why I got the mini. If I had to I could easily swap a battery and bottle over in 15 seconds if I had to so why get a bigger grand. It's a personal preference thing and I use the mini out and about so portability is important to. Ps it is smaller than you think, and looks great.

I have a Grand and absolutely love it. I got sick of refilling cartos, then tired of dripping (and driving), so this thing has been an amazing improvement in my vaping experience. I use AW IMR 1600maH batts, and one will last me all day and a little extra...yeah, about 16hrs. The Grand is hefty and I was used to a stainless steel 18650 mod, but I have not had any aversions to the size. I have it in my hand throughout the day more often than not.

I keep 4-5 6mL bottles filled at home and carry at least 2 with me when out. I removed the dripper tips from all my bottles and installed o-rings into the screw caps (3/8" I.D. - 1/2" O.D. - 1/16" W for the Grand). This makes it so easy to swap out flavors, and the o-ringed caps keep them from leaking.

Also, these cases are perfect for extra batts, bottles and atties: Ballistic Nylon Battery Case with Keyring

I do see myself getting a mini eventually, but I am currently happy with my set up for now.

There is not that BIG of a size difference...

Grand:
=====
Height: 3-3/4"
Width: 1-11/16"
Depth: 15/16"

Mini:
=====
Height: 3-1/8"
Width: 1-1/2"
Depth: 5/8"

When you have both there is a huge size difference. But that doesn't mean the Grand is to big.
There is also a very substantial weight difference.
And no matter what people say the Grand does perform slightly better than the mini IMO
(Even with AW IMR batts) It hits a touch harder and the bigger juice well makes it perform better as well. Again IMO!

If it were me, no matter how much you vape or how big your hands are I would go with the Grand :)

Then 2-3-or 6 months down the road you might want a mini as well.

For people with only a mini ..... Ya your livin the REO good life, but your missing out on something :)

What I can tell you that I had a pack of light cigarette before going to vaping. I have a Reo Mini and I fill the 3ml bottle twice a day and change batteries 2-3 times depending on how long the day is. The Grande for me would sound better thus but I would never change the mini to a bigger device. The fill the bottle and change the battery is about 1 min, so I can handle this hussle.
I would recommend the Mini thus.

If you look at the REO as a box and take those measurements to find the volume that gives you a better idea.
The numbers themselves are so small its very misleading.

Grand Volume = 5.933
Mini Volume = 2.930

Thats a more acurate way to compare them.
So the Grand is almost exactly twice as large as the mini (touch more)
Or the Mini is almost exactly half the size of the grand ....

Still holding out that if you can only have one .... It's Grand FTW .....
Now that I dusted off the rusty old math skills its ....
Off to vape fest folks

Have a great day, I will.

If you can only buy one, I would say that it depends on how long you want to use it without changing batteries or adding juice. I have both and they are great, but I prefer the Grand because I can get through 12 to 15 hours of vaping without any battery or juice hassles. If I'm home & have juice and batteries handy, I generally use the Mini, which will get me through about 6 to 8 hours of vaping.

And my choice is...(Drum roll please).. The Reo Grand. I decided to go big. I'm committed now. Just bought some bats, charger, and 2x LR atty. I guess I could still get a Mini and just buy some different bats. I also have some 12mg juice (Nutty and Honey Flue), usually use 18-24mg. That's in case I start vaping more than I already do. LOL.

Now I'm checking the website several times a day in case he posts them earlier than 4/1. I have my email on the notify list but don't trust it. Antici...........pation!

Thanks, mlinky. That works for me (better than the other way around.) I ordered the last Woodvil Rob had and it's due to be here Monday. I don't even want to go to work because I know I need to sign for it. Darn. I'll get it Tuesday. I'm loving my Mini soooo much, but I think I might love the Woodvil even more.

Mudflap:
AvidVaper.com - 2X LR 510 Low Resistance Atomizer 2.0 ohm (Cisco Spec)
LightHound.com - 2X AWIMR18650 AW IMR18650 1600mAh LiMN rechargeable lithium battery
LightHound.com - UFCGHMulti Ultrafire WF-139 Charger for 14500 / 17500 / 18500 / 18650 / RCR123 3.7 volt Lithium Battery Charger

I got the 510 atties because they work with all my other gear. It is my first LR so i didn't want to go too crazy with a 1.5. The battery is one recommended here in this forum somewhere. It is unprotected but supposed to be safe chemistry, I think. And the battery charger is because the more expensive one was out of stock. I'll just make sure to take it out when it's charged. It was half the price anyway. I already have a drip tip.

I hope I didn't misstep anywhere...
