Thanks, mlinky. That works for me (better than the other way around.) I ordered the last Woodvil Rob had and it's due to be here Monday. I don't even want to go to work because I know I need to sign for it. Darn. I'll get it Tuesday. I'm loving my Mini soooo much, but I think I might love the Woodvil even more.

I have both. They are both fabulous. Truthfully, I can't imagine being unhappy with any of Rob's mods.

Mudflap:
AvidVaper.com - 2X LR 510 Low Resistance Atomizer 2.0 ohm (Cisco Spec)
LightHound.com - 2X AWIMR18650 AW IMR18650 1600mAh LiMN rechargeable lithium battery
LightHound.com - UFCGHMulti Ultrafire WF-139 Charger for 14500 / 17500 / 18500 / 18650 / RCR123 3.7 volt Lithium Battery Charger

I got the 510 atties because they work with all my other gear. It is my first LR so i didn't want to go too crazy with a 1.5. The battery is one recommended here in this forum somewhere. It is unprotected but supposed to be safe chemistry, I think. And the battery charger is because the more expensive one was out of stock. I'll just make sure to take it out when it's charged. It was half the price anyway. I already have a drip tip.

I hope I didn't misstep anywhere...

You did really well!!

When you have both there is a huge size difference. But that doesn't mean the Grand is to big.
There is also a very substantial weight difference.
And no matter what people say the Grand does perform slightly better than the mini IMO
(Even with AW IMR batts) It hits a touch harder and the bigger juice well makes it perform better as well. Again IMO!

If it were me, no matter how much you vape or how big your hands are I would go with the Grand :)

Then 2-3-or 6 months down the road you might want a mini as well.

For people with only a mini ..... Ya your livin the REO good life, but your missing out on something :)

Actually, I agree with you....and I firmly believe its because of the limitations in the 14500 batteries. :)

I think it's the 14500 battery too, because BOY! the first 3-4 hits from a fresh battery are awesome, but they drop off pretty fast. If every hit on the Mini could be like the first few on a fresh battery, that'd be perfect. As it is, I end up changing out the battery before I should need to just to get some great hits on a fresh battery. It all great, mind you....some hits are just over the top SUPER great. I can't WAIT to get the Woodvil (enroute!!!) and see how it hits. I'm so ready....got my batteries charged and my juice bottles o-ringed. Ha.

Hmmm...and you are using the AW IMR 14500's? I find that they are pretty consistent.

Yes, mlinky....I have the AW IMR 14500s....and I don't want to sound like I'm complaining. I have some 14500 Ultrafire batteries, and they are NOT as good as the AWs. But I really do feel the falling off on the AWs after a few hits. Mind you, even with that, the Mini is awesome and I don't mind. It's just that when I put a fresh battery on, I just know those first two or three hits are going to be stellar. Then it settles into just being awesome. LOL My AW batteries say 600mAh. I'm thinking they make 900mAh ones?? Anyway, maybe that's the reason. I end up changing batteries quite a bit....but then I vape quite a bit.....basically non-stop at times.

I teach at a college and I'll sneak into the bathroom stall between classes sometimes to sneak a vape. After I haven't vaped for an hour (during class,) when I take a hit, I don't notice anything but bliss...no matter what the condition of my battery is in, so maybe it's just because I sit and chainvape at home in front of the computer. I do notice that when I'm doing that with any pv I tend to think it's not hitting as hard after an hour or so of that. Ha. It really could be me and the way I vape, or it could be in my head. LOL

Good questions. If I had a mini, my answer might be different, but I'm happy with the way the Grand fits my hands (I switch back and forth between left and right). I'm not able to hide it, but it's comfortable.

For liquid, I like Alien Vision's "REO ready" 6ml sample bottles. It's not the only stuff I buy, but they're almost as convenient as prefilled carts and easy to switch. But then again, I like a wide variety of flavors and I've never found my "all day" vape.

LOL, It's all good. I just don't feel it, but I don't feel the drop off until the battery is at about 50%. The 900 mah ones are protected. Although AW makes a great battery, there have been issues with protected batteries, in general, with 1.5 ohm attys, especially the smaller batteries.
