Just in case you don't know, the doors aren't interchangeable from the 14500 to the 18500 minis. Found that out for sure today. Pretty shiny purple OG mini vape mail today.
I have no problems at all with 1.2Ω coils and 14500 batteries. I personally wouldn't go any lower than that though.

A standard RM2 will NOT fit. The catch cup is too small. You need to ask Rob to mill a RM2 down to size to fit a 14500 mini.

A 2.1 uses an 18490 battery instead. Consequently it's a bit larger in depth ("fatter") to accommodate the larger diameter battery.

You can "go there" and get a RM2 for a 14500 mini, but be aware of the limitations of those batteries. You need to stick to pretty high resistance builds. There's only so far you can go with that battery capacity.

Actually - all the non-LP RM2's fit the original Mini these days. I never specified with mine what version I had and they fit fine.

The rm2 sold now on robs site will fit. The original run of rm2 I believe was too big. I used a newer one on my mini without issue.
