REO mod TORTURE TEST

Hell yeah brother, my Kawasaki green mod took a nasty drop one night at work. I was up on the back bone of an A-10 aircraft standing between the engines inspecting some work my guys did on a motor. I had my mod in my pocket and went to step up onto the engine nacelle and it fell out of my pocket, slid down the surface of the jet, and took about a 10 to 12 foot drop from the jet onto the floor of the hanger.

First thought, oh well that sucks. I finished my inspections on the jet and then climbed down from the ladder and saw that my door had come off, the battery popped out and was across the hanger. The tip was a SS tip and had a nice gouge in it, and the rm5 top cap had popped off. The mod had the original 510 and after I picked everything up and cleaned it all off, I put it back together and it worked fine. The paint has a few more scratches and my rm5 cap is a little scratched, but it still works just as good as the day I unwrapped it from the package.

I'm pretty sure these would hold up really well in a brutal torture test against any other mod that's comparable, except the woodvils lol. I wouldn't let a woodvil leave my house anyway if I owned one.

A fun video to watch Russ, one that makes a statement to the naysayers that can't be disputed. If it were my Reo Grand, soon to be an International celebrity in itself, I wouldn't send it back to The Spa for anything. I'd use and display it proudly just as it is, a survivor that can stand up to any Hoople, and a tribute to Rob's design and manufacture.

Just between you and me, I'm not so sure at all that a Woodvil wouldn't survive with anymore than cosmetic issues as well with the atty a help in protecting the catch cup and old 510. Every time I pick up one of my '650 woodies especially, the feel of it reminds me just how solid they really are.

Great way to wake up and watch something like that haha. I drop mine enough through a day I wouldn't need to test it. I figured the top cap or something would've came off when you hit the fire pit at least though. Now I know the reason for that one picture you posted with the messed up wall haha.

Thank you my man! Oh, this mod doesn't need to go anywhere trust me. It's only just now gotten the character a mod that's over two years old and owned by this clumsy sob should have had a long time ago.

I've had some Woodvils and I'd put pretty much any amount of money that they would have cracked under that pressure bro.

The camera does that firepit throw alone no justice. That first throw woulda killed / splintered / rendered useless most mods.

Oh yeah, I haven't skated I a couple of years and even at my best I sucked.

The picture -Yes cause I suck at hockey I suspect that that shot off the baseboard left a mark too but I haven't looked yet. I will once I get some coffee. That one shot when right thru the box and smashed that wood that I put there to protect the wall. I can't hit the side of a silo though and even missed those

Funny video, but disturbing at the same time. I still carry my Reos around like they are raw eggs. I can say that in 4 years, I've never dropped a mod. Ms Rule, on the other hand, has dropped and broke every mod I've set up for her, including a Provari, 3 Vamos, 2 Zmax. I've yet to turn her loose with one of my Reos. Currently, she's torture testing a Roller I set up for her. She's a dog groomer, so she usually blames the drops on one of the dogs.

Thank you Rob. You have no idea how much luck was involved in even one throw. The fact that I hit it twice was a miracle
