im going to order some springs for my grand when ever they are back in stock and extra bottles i was wondering about the feed tubes do they ever need to be replaced? and how often?

I believe he calls it the "rebuild kit." It comes with all the stuff you that will need to be replaced, spring, extra tube, firing button and pin :)

Ordered this with my REOs. It's not as easy to send my mod back from where I'm at.

Burnt a couple of springs and replaced them. The rest are still A-ok. :)

how long do the springs last? i ask because i will be moving over seas and want to make sure im as stocked as possible

The springs themselves as Rob said will last for years... The thing that kills them are bad adapters and/or bad attys that create a short resulting in a high current surge which collapses the spring. It saves your mod from catastrophic damage, but it will render the mod useless or significantly less efficent. Its a good idea if your going to be in a country that could take a while to get a replacement, should yours fail, to have a few extras... At a few bucks a pop...its cheap insurance so that you wont be caught with a unusable mod...

The Canadian postal entities want to get even with all those Americans that have been buying their prescription meds on the cheap :)

ETA: the springs are held in the grand by a small screw. You can use a spring from one of those cheap plastic battery holders like Radio Shack sells (I know from experience they collapse just like the REO springs) if you can figure a way to tap and thread them.
