I've admired the REO for quite sometime and on the cusp of jumping off the cliff soon...LOL However, I was wondering what attys are you using? It seems like many are Nuppin, other have the Reomizers but then I've seen some people mod non-BF RDAs. Also, I see some people mod the firing button, do they sell those parts? I'm not a major cloud chaser but I do have RDAs set-up to fill rooms if I'm in the mood. I usually use 60/40 e-liquids because I'm more of a flavor junkie. I apologize for the REO NOOB questions and I did a quick search through the threads but figured the experts might be able to steer me in the right direction with my questions. :)

P.S. Do any use tanks (i.e. Aspire Nautilis)? Probably a really stupid question...I tend to travel and have to carry my stuff, thus, I use Nautilus Mini on my dna, so I can just carry and not worry about dripping or if I burned off all the liquid.

A quick check at reosmods.com will answer most parts availability questions.

As a flavor chaser you can't go wrong just starting out with the RM2 or RM3 from reosmods. Both very easy to build, and the RM3 comes in both single and dual coil models.

No need for tank atty's, the Reos carry their own "tank". The 14500 + 18490's a 3ml easily upgradeable to 6ml... the 18650's a 6ml easily upgradeable to 9ml. You could also carry either extra liquid bottles to refill them with or extra filled Reo bottles to just change them out with in a flash.

Thank you...But I've heard from non-REO users that it will leak if turned on it's side and the liquid isn't burned off. I can usually keep it upright but I can see if tipping over in my brief if it gets knocked over and I don't need sticky on docs. Hope that makes sense?

Welcome zeronic2013 as far as atomizers goes most of these people change atomizer from week to week one day this is the best and you see the same guys a week later claiming they found the holy grail in another atty . Its comical I guess what I am saying is dont believe the hype most of these rebuildable atomizers can put out great flavor and vapor . I tend to like smaller atomizer for flavor its all user preference .

Amen!!! I know a guy who has at least 30 attys and I don't know how many mods in his house...I'm a KISS type of guy and find what I like and keep it or a couple for various needs...

Ummm...how would a non-Reo user know if it leaks on it's side? Mine spend a lot of time on their sides...cuz I'm forever knocking them over, and i haven't dealt with leakage...unless I've over-squonked and it runs a little out of the catchcup. A little o-ring that you can get on the Reo site will take care of that. You don't have to vape the attie dry, just check the catchcup before you put it in your briefcase. Oh, and make sure it's turned off...not cuz of leakage but because the fire button could inadvertently be pressed against something and it'll fire...and fire.. and fire... don't ask me how i know:facepalm:

You're right about the non-users...There's always "experts w/o experiential knowledge" out there...That's why I'm here :D

That makes me feel better because I've had a leak in a brief and it wasn't a good experience. But since then I've been uber careful to do due diligence...I'll have to check out that o-ring solution and try and figure out where it would go...LOL

So Cal
I love my Reos, and I'm a huge fan of RM2s! I tend to oversquonk, and so mine are always in danger of leaking. When I put them in my purse, I always either put them in a pocket where they can't fall over or otherwise pop them into a little bag. Through user error or some other mishap, I have had mine leak in extreme heat or other unforseen conditions!

Nuppins are sold out so you would have to find one used. They are great and you cannot get better without spending a lot more. Unless a dual coiler or cloud chaser the RM2 is solid place to start, almost all Reo owners should have at least one.

What do you vape now ohm wise and if VV power wise? Also do you lung or mouth hit?

In my experience, the dual version of the RM3 is best for flavor and vapor production, combined. The tiny pin holes should be opened to 1/16" or even 3/32" (mine). As stated,no need for a tank atty, as the REO holds your tank and you feed liquid to the atty as needed. In the feeding process extra, over-squonked liquid is generally recovered to the bottle through the suction (semi-sealed system). I wouldn't hesitate to buy your first REO. I'd suggest a Grand for the battery and liquid capacity. If a larger diameter (>14mm) atty is at all a possibility, please choose the LP version, as it can occomodate larger atties. Be aware the deck of the LP is only 19.5mm, so a 22mm atty is going to have some overhang. It's aesthetic, but a consideration, none the less. Rob (Redeyedancer-The REO manufacturer) is planning to release an updated REO with SS connector to prevent stripping of threads. The release in not officially dated, but rumors have the run coming within this month. Maybe hold the trigger until the newest, next-best REO is released. I actually bought my 1st REO the week before the SO battery contacts were released as standard equipment. Had to buy another REO to get the upgraded contacts, later.

Before you open your package from REOsmods, hug all your other vape gear goodbye. they will miss you.

Thanks...I'm right now running .5ohm @ 30 and a total lung hitter. I'm using an IPV2 but have been thinking about a REO for quite some time, just sitting on the ledge still...LOL

then bypass the RM2 look at RM4, RM5, RM6, Cyclone with AFC, Odin or there are a ton choices from Chowderhead.

Thanks Filthy-Beast...Another dumb question, who or where can i find Chowderhead? I googled and didn't find anything. I thought I saw some REOs with Odins on them...
