I have that prob alot as well.. I would assume one could remove the pin in the button for the lock and the prob would be gone..

Love to do it myself but I'd like the lock for locking it on the go.

I would settle with a wider open track.. it must be real norrow as it is for the pin.. the slightest movement and it's locked.

I'd also like a little longer throw in the button as well. Should be able to just shorten the button end for that.

As it is there's really not much difference on or off.. it's hard to tell either way.

Those changes sound perfect for me but its nothing I can do myself.

dI love this new Woodvil but I got to say not a fan of the button . I know its jujst me but I find it too easy to shut it off during use. When Rob is back from his well deserved fishing vacation I'll ask about swapping out to the older button switch if possible. I never use the off/on button on previous Woodvils with no incidents so I wouldn't mind not having one on the new Woodvil.

You are not the only one turning it off. I will adapt to it (hopefully).

maybe if it didn't spin so easily and took some effort to turn off that would be ok.

I have been holding it with the atty facing away from me and firing with my index finger and have not had any issues accidentally turning it to the off position yet. Not finding fault, just giving some feedback.

T-Cad....how did you sink your center post?? Thanx

different atties require different methods, as quigs said many times the whole post needs to be pressed out and modified but fortunately this one is a threaded post, so just screw it in and out to raise and lower it :)

Just adding to the count here -

a - I LOVE the button, I like the super-short throw, I'm firing it any which way as I do - both hands, sideways, thumb, pointer, etc. And I haven't turned it off by accident...

b - Can't measure, but one, for sure, has a shallow 510 connector. Not a massive gap, but fully recessed, you should get flush. I like using an oring anyway, and it looks like anything 1 to 1.5 will fill the gap and still fire (the gaps not that big - oring's in a channel...). Plus, a Nuppin2 cap can slide to cover totally... So personally, I'm OK with it...

Didn't read the whole thread but my Odin sits up a little above my Woodvil as well, but my metal has some grooves from hoopling it into place that I dont mind. I dont wanna scratch the bloodwood. :)
Same this is a mute point for me. In fact I'm a fan of the levitation

The 510s in these mods are set up so a standard carto or atty will make contact with the center post down all the way . If all of your atomizers are sitting way to high send it in I will address the issue .
I can not make a mod so every atty sits flush on the deck of the mod. I am good but not that good the atty makers are not keeping the same tolerances . This has always been a problem for any mod builder . There is no one way makes everyone happy method . No one is crushing there gaskets anymore
