So I was gonna try my first dual build on my reomizer 4 and realized I couldn't find my third post screw. I found a replacement screw that fits and had it in there while still using my single coil and the coil suddenly stopped firing. I removed the screw and now its firing but only off and on. Does this have something to do with my build or was it the make shift screw I had in the post?

It's the screw. When i make a coil on any atty, as i tighten the screw i look at the leg of the coil that protrudes through the back of the post hole. When it rises, i know i have a screw to wire connection.

Yes it's a screw in an unused post. I just screwed it in there so I wouldn't lose it. It only misfired once after I took the screw out, which could have been my imagination as its firing fine now.
After I get my coils adjusted and dry fired, I always check the tightness of the screws one more time before I put the rayon thru them. Always good to double check the connections a second time that way it's all good to go once you add wick and juice. I've had a miss fire before and it was because I guess I over tightened the screw and broke the wire at the post. I found that out after the second check when I fired em a last time before wicking.
