Send me your RBAs with a self addressed return envelope and I'll gladly coil an wick em for ya for free. All I ask is that you clean them out first. This offer applies to anyone interested. Just let me know what ohms ya like this week too :)

Larry, you should take him up on this. Premade coils are great, but there's generally more juju going into installing them than making them. Distance from the air intake, or floor of the atomizer, or juice feeding hole matters. Not a lot, but it makes a difference between "well, it's better than a carto" and "omg, this is a religious experience"

Amen amen I say to the installation juju. I've had "uglier" coils taste way better than "pretty" ones because I was careful to set it at the same height as the air hole, and took extra care that the coil faced the air hole directly (that last thing I think applies mostly with the hornet, since they're so small sometimes the coil is crammed in there slanted in relation to the air flow). In my experience, it makes a very noticeable difference.

+1 especially on the hornet. That air directly on the coil makes a big difference

Running R2 against an identically coiled A7 - one on my grand and the A7 on my vvg with wheel turned down. Been a week. Both still going very well.

But, the A7 can be harsh at times and when i toke on them they run hot - very hot (I'm greedy - see above). I have noticed the R2 is a very cool vape and so i have been using that more. It is more suited to my work environment and the low - fat (can i say that?) profile is good, since i wear my grand on my belt.

Now - here's the main thing - ease of re coiling. R2 is so easy i asked my wife to do it and the posts are so far apart in comparison that she can do it without anything more than her glasses on! I have to redo the A7's. Under a magnifier.

R2 - $43, A7 - $18. Is it worth the price for the vaping alone?

I reckon it is. You will want a second one. Just to prove it really wasn't an accident!

For the love of REO's what do you holster it in? I've looked everywhere and tried many things but cannot seem to find a decent holster to use while at work!?

A case for a cell phone should work. Here is one for a Grand.

Just a quick note, 9 days into 2nd coil, and results are still spectacular (as noted here) I'm still not sure why the resistance went so high on the first one, but this one has been stable, good flavor and vapor, no dry burns needed, and I can easily see this one lasting several weeks, if not more.

I still have the 2nd one I ordered in it's original packaging, and I'm planning on setting it up to carry as a "spare", although, at this point, I'm not convinced I even need a spare.

This little gem just keeps on truckin' and I couldn't be more pleased. Thanks again, Rob. Icing on the cake (RM2 on the Grand), so to speak :)

If anyone is still on the fence about this RBA, just DO it!

You couldn't be more correct AP. Besides its premium quality vape, I believe that the RM2 has got to be the most user friendly RBA out there from a coiling and wicking standpoint.

Affordable, spectacular vape, easy, intuitive, durable and versatile are usually not available all together. With the RM2, they are all combined into a package that will please noobs and hardcore vets alike.

I really like rebuilding this RBA. So damn easy and hella rewarding. With elementary school age kids you hear the term "epic fail" Allot. The RM2, on the other hand, is an epic success :)

I believe the term those kids would use for the RM2 is "epic win" ;)

And yes, indeed it is.

Not a kid here, but yeah I'd say "epic"... after fiddling (with reasonable success) with Genesis sub 1.0 Ohm atomizers for the last 4 months and passing off VV for all mechanicals, I've gotten interested in dripping rebuildables (RDA), and came across RM2... 2? wow.

Rob's vid as usual, was spot on, and this couldn't be easier... 28g wire 5wraps, double 3mm silica... whoosh. epic on my silver/blue grand.

The only slight hang up for me is I can't use my favorite juice in my Reo tank... Pluid...

but hey, this is a dripper, and we're talking a pure mechanical mod here... i got my glass dropper and bottle going now, 5 min. into this RM2. Pluid never tasted better :)

I'm not opposed to brass plated RBA's, but I'm not a fan of juice coming in direct contact with brass. I assume Rob just drilled through the center post to make this bottom feeder friendly... was it re-plated after he modded the unit? Is there any part of this Reomizer 2.0 where juice comes into contact with brass?

Lead is a component of brass. Lead coming in contact with anything we ingest is a no- no

Rob has address this and I'm not sure the specifics but basically lead has been pulled out of the brass making process for quite some time and not an issue as I understand it I could be wrong this is what I remember of the conversation. No he did not replate it and there is tons of brass that juice comes in contact with in all kinds of mods out there Reo's included and you'd be hard pressed to not find brass in you water pipes in you home that comes in contact with the water we use every day FWIW

If brass is a problem for anyone there are other options . I have gone down this road many times . Find me a standard atomizer that doesn't have brass in it .Every wood mod I build has a brass juice well its doesn't take long and the brass is totally sealed with a patina from the juice we use . Modern brass has very little lead in it .If we were taking a torch to it I would be worried . I wouldn't sell something to my customers I wouldn't use myself . Like I said there are other options plenty of stainless atomizers on the market . I could have this atty made with stainless of course it wouldn't be affordable anymore
