So at 8 days in, I just wasn't getting as much vapor and warmth as I had at first, and it seemed I was going through batteries faster, so I pulled the atty and checked it on the box-meter. (I know, I know, better to check on the REO, but that's where the original 1.7 reading came from, and I wanted consistency)

What started at @ 1.7 had increased to over 5 ohms!

No detectable burning of the silica wick, and not a lot (visually) of buildup on the coil. I did no dry burning during the 8 day test.

So, I built another coil (came out to 1.4), took around 5 minutes, and original vapor and flavor are back. I may try some dry burns 3 or 4 days into this one, but it's "longevity" seems to be exceptional (I vape around 4-6ml per day, so about 40ml through the first one).

I'm trying hard not to gush too much over this atty, but I'm glad I got a 2nd one before they all sold out :) I've found my goto atty, without doubt.
I am glad your enjoying the new atty my friend :)

Hello everyone

Just returned from a seven day Eastern Caribbean cruise aboard the Oasis of the Seas. It was a fantastic experience and the ship is magnificent.

Prior to leaving I wrapped an 8/9 coil around organic cotton ball that metered out to 1 ohm on the Reomizer 2. Put it on the VV Grand set at 4.1 volts. It provided a fantastic vape for the entire week. I brought wire and both silica wick and cottons balls with me in case I had to re-wick. Didn't need any of it as the coil just maintained the same intensity throughout the entire trip. Needless to say I am in love with both the Reomizee 2 (RM2, good abbreviation Clyde) and cotton balls.

That sounds awesome Ray! I also love these RM2s and I think I'll also coin that abbreviation. We are also supposed to book a cruise for late summer but the potential move back to south Florida may force us to do the cruise next year.

I look forward to getting back "home" and our future Carnival cruise :)

Yeah Russ the cruise was awesome and RM2 sure made it better.
BTW I just wrapped a micro coil at you suggestion. Used 30 ga Kanthal, 11 wraps around a paper clip. Metered out at 1.5 ohms. I'll let you know how it performs in a couple of hours.

I trust that at those specifications and if your coil is up out if the squonk hole, you will love the results :). It is important (like Rob says in his video) to not get the coil and wick too close to the hole cause it can block the excess juice from draining.
Please do post your findings.

Terminal screws probably loosened up. That's my guess.

I love these attys too :)

I thought of that too, but they were tight. I was a bit curious as to why, but then I figured, "Meh, who cares if I have to rewick every 8 days" lol

I just rechecked my 2nd coil/wick on the RM2. Started at 1.4 and has crept up to 1.5, but still amazing vapor and flavor, I fully expect to get at least a week out of this one.

And Rob, whatever magic it is you put into things you make, sure does make using them a true pleasure. I don't even consider you a manufacturer, you're a craftsman.

You know, I got a beef with this review stuff in the REO Forum. Out of all the reviews from all the different forums I read. This is the forum I try to stay away from the most. The reviews from all you people make it so very enticing and interesting. I want to buy something. I want to buy the Reomizer. But....I've been there done that with trying to roll a coil...I can't! But still, I want a Reomizer

You guys are good!! and I mean that!! :)

Just adding my two cents here too....I never did put my chalice II back on my reo. The RM2 has usurped the chalice II with ease. The biggest difference for me is the fact that I'm finding that the juice in the bottle isn't turning sour like it did with the Chalice. I was only filling my 6ml bottle halfway so I didn't end up having to flush the remaining juice that had little black chunks floating around and become unvapable for me. So, no more daily bottle rinsing and dry burns. I'm running about 5-8 days between dry burns....and almost never need to rinse the bottle.

Yep, same here. It just feeds enough juice in to keep the wick wet for a few draws without flooding it, and sucks enough juice back into the bottle without contaminating it. It's dependable, versatile and enjoyable enough to have become my daily driver.

Something else about the RM2 is that it's awfully forgiving and will work even with an 'ugly' coil, which I am truly grateful for.

If your wick could talk it might tell you that coils are like women. An ugly, loose one is okay from time to time, but it prefers em pretty, small, tight and hot :)

Rob needs to hire some REO LOOMPAS. He could feed them M&M'S for a salary to keep the cost down and they could pre-roll buckets of these coils for folks like me!

:D

once you see how easy it is to roll one up (check robs videos) you will kick your own ... for not giving it a go sooner.

Dude, like if I can do it, ANYONE can :)

Illuminated magnification is money in this game boss.

Robs already got his porkieloompas. I hear they run a tight security detail on the mod shack?

I can dig the Illuminated magnification part. If I decide to give this a go, that will be my first investment. "porkieloompas"
