My new baby.

Reo_zps6e4ad3de.jpg

Scored this in the Classies.

It's pretty much everything I wanted. With an AW IMR 18490 battery (punches out 16.5 amps - pretty bad-a$s for a small battery) the RM2 with air hole drilled out to 3/32", and a little creative decorating of the button cover to match my drip tip, I'm in vaping heaven tonight.

Coil inside is drill-twisted 26 gauge Kanthal - 7 wraps on a 5/64th" precision screwdriver. Resistance - .39 ohms. Wick is CVS rolled cotton.

Should have taken the shot before I got it all gunked up, but oh well.

This is cute and girly, and the easiest, most powerful, most perfect vape in the known universe. Fresh dripped flavor - massive clouds - squonk to re-saturate... vape paradise.

Thank you to everyone who led me down the path to bottom feeding along the journey. And thanks to Rob for making this little cutie. I'm so happy, I feel a little high. And that's with just 2 mg nicotine juice folks ;)

Congrats, that button top is SWEET looking, great job. You're pushing in the area of button melting ohms, does that have a firing pin or fuse mod in it?

Beast - you have reminded me that I need to take the next step and outfit my Reo for sub-ohming. Unless... is Rob's sub ohm conversion kit ready for purchase?

and no not yet - FB is the authority on these and reckons 3/14 +2 weeks

T

Yep, if Rob get's his shipment when they promised on 3/14 then he needs sometime to put the kits together.

The mods are not too difficult, I found cutting the brass feeler gauge with heavy duty kitchen scissors easier than trying a saw or the dremel.

Thats a fantastic looking mod V!

If you do the fuse mod you will be right as rain, won't have to worry about melted buttons. There are a few different ways to get a 10A car fuse to fit:

Simply Bending the legs (if you're going to buy Rob's kit this way will be fine for the next few weeks)- http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/472662-spring-what-spring-2.html#post10814133

Mr. Mundy's way - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/472662-spring-what-spring-3.html#post10822968

Xobe's HDMI cap - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/472662-spring-what-spring-5.html#post10840959

My Clay Version (biased favorite)- http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/472662-spring-what-spring-8.html#post10958633

Xobe's PTFE McGyvering - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/472662-spring-what-spring-6.html#post10869215

(pdibs version is the best but requires richlite and a wood working shop)

OK so the bend-method looks the easiest. What fuse do I buy for my Mini 2.0, and what keeps the fuse with bent legs adhered to it's spot where the spring used to be?

I did the Mundy way for the fuse, to do that you'll need.

Rebuild kit from Rob in case you break the center pin while unscrewing the nipple, I already had this.
feeler gauge with at least one brass blade. I got a gauge with two .010 and .012 for under $7
10 AMP ATC fuses 5 pack fro $4
piggy back connectors.

I also replaced the firing pin with a brass one.

But since your talking only a month I probably do the bent fuse way, you just want to make sure the connector you bend over cannot touch the sides or you bypass the fuse. Make sure to test it by shorting the posts while firing. This will destroy the fuse so have spares.

Explain please? I have a Dremel, but cutting sounds cool. Step by step? With the science behind it?

Remove brass gauge from holder.
Cut to same width of current firing pin
Cut longer than current firing pin so you can bend over the tip. (see pic below)
trim ends so it's narrower where you're going to bend the end.
Drill hole in brass pin the same size and location as original, don't make this too big you need to thread firing pin onto it.
Move silicone sleeve from old pin to new brass pin
Bend end over, I then filed it to make the contact point level.

To remove old pin:
Take delrin cover, tube and bottle out.
hold center pin from the top(inside 510 connector) with a screw driver. Use a pliers to unscrew the nipple

Top one is brass pin with bent over contact edge and the spare pin from the rebuild test fitted.
