Just my 2 cents here, take it for what it's worth. I'd strongly advise AGAINST enlarging the air hole. It's a one way street. Once opened up, it's not really feasible to go back.

If the OP was complaining about the draw being too tight, that's different. But all other aspects of the vape, i.e., amount of vapor, heat of the vapor, flavor, throat hit, can all be controlled by how the coil is built and positioned. Just sayin'

That is what it looks like and I noticed I had my cotton over the juice hole so I moved it.

Hmmm... From what I can see the coil needs to be skootched further away from the posts toward the edge, and it looks like too much wick going on there. (When you build you need to get away from expecting the wick to do more than it needs to now.) I know it's an overhead shot but the coil looks awfully "flat" to the base - like it needs to be raised up a bit.

Also, when you put your cap on, how is the vent hole lining up relative to the coil position? Ideally, you want the air hole positioned right in line with the coil. If the air hole is out of place relative to the coil there are easy ways to fix that too.

You may want to visit the build photos here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/413000-rm2-rba-2-0-reomizer-2-rebuild-tutorial.html

I have re done the coil, it was already even with the air hole. I moved it right out to the very edge and I have tried using very little cotton but have found I prefer it with more cotton it just taste better. With the cotton just resting on the deck I am getting hits of what I would assume burning cotton would taste like a long with my juice not a nice flavor.

That's what it's looking like now. Ohms are reading 1.82 much cooler and flavor is very good as well.

It may seem obvious, but have you removed the drip tip and watched as you squonk? You need to make sure the juice is completely saturating the wick. You shouldn't be getting any burnt flavor.

DB some folks get it right on the build right off, some need to take a few days to play with it to get it sorted, and as much as we Reo lovers don't like to believe it, there are a few who it just doesn't work for.

Go easy on DB people, it's easy to get frustrated when the magic doesn't happen straight out of the box.

I agree that is can be tough for people that are trying to use a new RBA for the first time and a new REO.

Even if you have built coils before a new and different RBA can throw you off.

And we all realize there is a learning curve to the REO. Squonking becomes natural but at first it must be learned. It is different for atomizers, cartomizers and RBA's.

Some people just don't realize that the REO is not the real problem in most cases. It is the build on the RBA.

I am very glad that I got use to squonking with a atomizer first. It was a couple years before I tried to use a RBA. I knew any problems were not the REO but what I did! That includes learning to squonk with a RBA.

Someone suggest using a longer drip tip

I bought this for 2 bucks off fasttech for moments when I want to feel like a classy wizard vaping on a pipe (a la gandalf from lord of the rings)

It looks so ridiculous yet pretty snazzy:

I could sit at a hipster cafe ALL day and puff on it.

It does cool the vape down considerable which I don't quite like.

Another reo happy ending. Welcome, Tracey :toast:

Sorry it didn't work out for dirtybirdy, but maybe this is fate - you were meant to have it in your hot little hands. Pics when she arrives, daaahling - it's a must (I know, I know, db posted a couple of her already, but these would be to commemorate Tracey's official immigration to the 'Ville).
