Stuck in REO agony...

Today my first ever REO arrived in the mail. It was kind of an impulse purchase-I just happened to grab a great deal on the classifieds. The problem is that this is my first mod, meaning that I had to order batteries and a charger as well. Of course the Reo got here before the batteries, which is just torture. Oh well, at least it's a good-looking paperweight for the next couple of days.

Been there and done that one before. It's horrible. I also ordered the wrong batteries once and didn't realize it. The mod stared at me with bulging eyeballs for 10 days waiting for the right ones to get here. That was absolute torture!

Oh wow, I hope that I don't have to look at it for 10 days. They should be there any day now, I would think. The tracking number is showing that my package hasn't moved since yesterday morning though...hopefully that's not actually the case. If I had planned this better I never would have ordered on a holiday weekend.

USPS is notorious for not updating the tracking until the package is out for delivery. Most sellers are really good about getting their packages out quickly. I think it will show up sooner than later. You are not alone in your agony...many have been in your shoes! (((Renrav)))

Have to say i did the same but it was worth the wait--i've been so happy with ithe reo grand i stayed off the forum for almost 6 weeks! No cig problems for 6 weeks!

just came back and decided i really could use a mini, went to start hitting the notify me buttons on the site and lo and behold the very color i was looking for was available just about the only one... (robert you really should get the site set to display the in stock products at the top of the page).

Anyway now i just did the same thing and i'm looking for a good place to get RELIABLE, SAFE and hopefully cheap 14500 batts.
any suggestions?

My first REO showed up the day after my batts and charger ... So I was charged and ready.

So I cannot say "I know what your going through"

I can say I am not a patient person and I have a bit of MacGyver in me .... If that had happened to me I think I would have found a way (safe or not) to put some juice through that bad boy !!

In other news, MY BATTERIES CAME TODAY! It actually worked out fairly well. I had only one day to watch my expensive paperweight, and I use that time to read through the forum so I knew what to expect. It was cleaned and ready to go, my batteries are taped, and I think I've already figured out blind squonking. Thanks everyone, and especially anyone who ever posted in the 'tips and tricks thread.' I think that single thread probably saved me a lot of trouble. Well I'm off to vape all my juice...

Edit: Hey cool, my new avatar updates my old posts automatically. I didn't know before, as this is the first time I've bothered to make one! Now to enlarge my meager collection...
