A good tool to use for this is:

Congrats on your new Reo! If you are going dual coil, say, 2mm, 28g, 6 wraps each will get you around .5. Just learn Steam Engine and play with it. You also, I hope, have an ohm meter to check your build before firing it.

In the coil building section, put in your wire size. Put in single or dual coil. Your desired resistance in ohms. Your coil size-what size of drill bit/mandrel whatever, are you winding your coil on. The leg length you can estimate. In the right hand box, it'll give you the number of wraps needed to achieve your targeted resistance. Play a little, you'll see how it works. Those atties you're using lend themselves well to dual coils. Just practice a little. Go to another valuable source, YouTube. Lots of good coil building tutorials. Just please, test it on your coilmaster, then fire it on there and check for even burning. Wick up, cap it, recheck the ohms, then add it to your Reo. juice it up and enjoy!

You're going to Love the REO Grand. Soon you will have another on the way. Then you'll want a Woodville..........
Spot on with the 0.4 ohm. My RM8's come out to 0.43 using 26 guage 7 wrap duals on 2.5mm diameter. But then I find myself using that same build for all, RM7, RM9.
Don't forget the Deoxit Gold on the battery contacts, or the Noalox, and clean the batteries with cotton and alcohol on a regular basis.

The flavor is SO much better with rebuildables. you also actually SAVE money not having to buy those expensive Pre-made coils!:rickroll:Have fun and enjoy your journey.

Ok.. so I talked to rob from reos mods...love the reo... just ordered my second one
I told him I really like the flavor. The more the better...he suggested the low profile reomizer atty...so I ordered it
What else is out there ? I already have the loki odin, haven't built on it yet.....I also have a velocity original...can I get someone to make it into a bottom feeder atty? And if so is that a good choice......or should I just leave it as is...lots of questions... sorry ...but after using the reo going back to regulated mods seems......well not the same kind of "HIGH"...and I have a few different regulated mods

Welcome to ReoVille!! Gongratz on your purchases! They will last forever.

I love my Grands:hubba::hubba:, I have not touched anything else since January of this year when I got my first one. Of course like a lot of people here I ordered another a week later and they are still rocking. I did update them to the SS 510 when they came out and they have been hitting hard.

There are several different types of bottom feed attys out there now. Rob has a ton of them on his site now. Tom from Catfish Atty Mods I know will turn some attys depending on the type of atty into a bottom fed atty.
