hello guys .. i`m really new to tc and start to read about it but every where people talk about dna, i`m using the dovpo topside duel and berserker mtl rda v2 is it gonna work for me as a beginner, yesterday i resave my new ss316 wire 26 and 28 GA

i did my first coil 26 ga 6 wrap 3mm its came 0.48 , so i start with the TCR at 110 and put the wattage at 15 and using it between 330 to 390F

it`s not bad vaping , but not very good as will in flavor i have Black Note cigar 18mg

so any suggestion

Welcome!
My first mod was a topside, and yes, it will do TC just fine for you. It may not be quite as precise or smooth as a DNA, but the net results of a quicker ramp time, more control over flavor, and dry hit protection will be noticable.
I can't speak to simple wire builds, as I jumped in to the fancy claptons right away, but if try finding your power setting in power mode, then applying that to your power setting in TC.

Hello and welcome. I agree with those who suggest you'll get a better vape if you bump up the wattage a bit. As for the temperature, I think most vapers prefer something in the 400 - 450 f range (approximately - I'm used to working in Celcius). Of course, there's no shortage of exceptions, so if you prefer the 300 range that's where you belong. The golden rule of TC settings is 'suit yourself'.

I think the TCR setting being 5 to 18 ticks high depending on who you ask may have something to do with the low temp setting. Usually SS316 is around 92-105, but I've made some coils that act outside this norm. I doubt a simple 26g 3mm ID 6 wraps is outside this range, unless it looks like spaghetti...

I have never used TC (so disregard this post...) I often do simple handwound coils... 26 ga, 3mm, 6-7 wraps (around 25 watts) Don't know if that helps, but my understanding of TC is it controls temp (and you choose the wattage) Seems like you have it backwards (low watts, high TC) but once again I know nothing about TC. My advice... just go back to wattage mode.
