I'm looking for info on how to, if possible, repair the button switch on my GGTS. Mine overheated and now I have no spring action at all in the switch. I can still use it but have to remember to rotate it into the lock position each time after taking a hit. I noticed COV has some but they are pretty expensive and of course it takes about 5 or 6 days to get one. Thanks.

Unfortunately I don't know of anywhere to get a spring that would work..besides COV, of course!
It def. sounds like the button spring needs replacement though, as does the bottom cap spring.
Replace batts. too, just to be safe!
Sorry bout the troubles.

You can order them from just about anyone who sells ring magnets.....just make sure you order the correct dimensions. The last ones I bought were about 15 cents each

Any hardware store has the right size spring, if you have calipers the job of finding the right one is easier but I am sure if you buy the assorted spring pack from home depot you will find one the right size though it will proabably need to be cut with wire cutters to the right length.

unscrew the head of the button from its base. Use pliers to keep the base and use a polygonal tool to unscrew the head V2

I ordered from Gauss Boys, Neodymium Magnets by Gaussboys Super Magnets

They're not the exact dimensions, but they worked for me, and they worked for others I told about them, so they just might work for you as well.

Model R0602 - 6mm x 3.5mm x 2mm N38 Nickel Plated Neodymium Magnet - Ring - $0.14/each.
