Anybody else having problems with the flat top GGTS buttons. Have 2 GGTS's, one has the brass flat top button and the other has the stainless flat top (the one that's a little rounded and not really flat). Recently both GGTS's began not hitting as well as normal. After a bit of experimenting I determined the problem was in the buttons. Seems the connection is not good. Cleaned both buttons well and changed the springs. Same problem. They hit, just don't seem to be firing at full power. When I remove the flat top replacement button and replace with the regular stock buttons both hit just fine, like always so I know it's something in the buttons. Also know these new buttons have to be adjusted just right and I've tinkered and tinkered trying to get them adjusted right. Anyhow I've finally given up and went back to using the standard stock buttons full time but I do prefer the look and feel of the replacement flat top buttons. Any suggestions as to what I can do to get the flat tops working right??? Thanks

Smitty, if you bought your buttons as separate parts before the last batch of GGTS came in like I did,
I bet you might not have gotten the spare brass pin with your steel button? IIRC, they weren't included at that time.
If so, best advice I can give is to get in on the advance ordering for the brass button pins:
Advance Sale -GGTS Brass Button Screw
My round steel button has these same issues, so I just ordered a few of these yesterday. My older SS buttons hit great.
Pin changing seems to do the trick for the round SS button, from what I've read on here.
Currently, the round SS adjustable throw buttons have SS pins, the older polygonal SS buttons have nickel plated brass pins-
and the round brass flattop buttons should have plain brass pins...But your brass button is also doing this, which is odd.
Not sure what's up there, sorry..

I bought the brass button off the classy's but bought the stainless button assembly from COV. Neither came with an extra pin. Oh well, got new brass pins coming - sometime after Oct 30.
Just to add to that, I had this exact problem. Oh it fired.....inconsistently. This was a button assembly that came with it. I happened to order a spare button assembly, it came with both the ss and brass pins. Tried the ss, inconsistent. Put the brass in and bamo. Happy vaping.

I have every style button/switch Imeo has made and they all work great. One thing, besides cleaning, you should check is whether the contact post of the switch and the post in the end cap are polished. It does make a difference and easy to do. If it's an adjustable throw, make sure the pin makes solid contact (make the throw a bit longer until it does) with the end cap post.
