Repairing Nasty Dekang RY4?

I got some Dekang RY4 (30 ml) through LiteCig. I meant to get the Americano RWHY4 but had a brain fart while ordering.

The rWHY4 is a caramelly, sweet, slightly tobacco maybe which I like quite a lot.

The Dekang is sort of floral/chemical/tobacco, but none of those at the same time. I don't have enough experience to compare it to anything. It isn't so bad it is unvapeable, but about as close as you can get. I'm airing it out, but I don't see that saving it.

Should I try some caramel/sweetener? I kind of suspect nothing will make it the RWHY4 I like. Maybe there is some other application, like a mixer with some citrus/fruit/tobacco? (I'm hoping to order DIY stuff soon)

I add a strong chocolate juice to tobacco and ry4's that are gross the choco seems to drown out other flavors.

You could try getting a smaller amount of FreedomSmokeUSA RY4 (choosing 100% VG) then mix it in? That would add more vapor and hopefully tone it down some.

You could also try steeping the Dekang RY4 first. The Dekangs usually don't need steeping but when USA mixes smell perfumey it's usually because the favors were new. Try taking off the cap and pop out the drip tip (with mine, pressing sideways on drip tip pops it out) and set the bottle open overnight or for a day somewhere safe. Then replace drip tip and cover, try it, and you could leave it sitting closed for longer (week or two).

I had it with cap off all night but flipped off the drip tip easily this morning. Maybe it does need steeping because I can tell the edge is coming off of it a bit. I doubt it is going to be the RWHY4 that I want still. That has an obviously sweeter, caramel, even slightly nutty smell. I might toss part of it in the old RWHY4 bottle to get a touch of goodness and allow double air exposure.

I might also try some different actual RY4 concentrate, but I should be able to make some sort of attempt at my own RY4 purely through DIY. I need to figure out how to piece together a DIY kit and FreedomSmokeUSA actually has enough components it might be worth it to make it one of my orders (already have nic juice on the way 100 mg PG 250 ml 40% off from Gourmet Vapors), along with probably an order from onestopDIY or PA.

One of the RY5 reviews on MFSUSA said it had more of a chocolate tone than caramel. Having no other RY4 to compare to, that is mainly what it is about right? Caramel + tobacco?

edit: I also noticed MFSUSA has "caramel sugar syrup". Isn't that bad for cartos? It says it has a weak flavor and I could probably make my own, just wondering.

I have one bottle that any slightly un-used juice goes into. These include ones I didn't like, didn't want to waste a carto on, etc. Guess what, it is now my best juice and once it's gone - it is gone. My carto label for it is just a ?

I suspect the The RY4 I got from StrictlyEJuice may be the same Dekang stuff you got. If so, I'd cut your losses and toss the stuff. I've been steeping it for a month, and the nasty chemical taste ain't going away.
