Been using clearomizers now for over 3 weeks (still on the first one out of the pack), loving it, working well for me. Using 3ohms, remove all rings and just drip down the sides to refill.

After the first week I took it apart to wash/rinse/ dry burn. Basically just removes the clear tubing. Well I noticed that it did not fit back on as tight as when new. No biggie to me and continued working fine.
Now after 3 weeks I have developed some cracks in the tube on either end and the tubing is somewhat loose with play and starting to have tiny tiny leaks of droplettes at the connector end.

This thing is still working great and it seems a shame to me to have to toss or retire it. I tried using the cut syringe from a previous mod from a metal CE2 but it doesn't fit, inner diameter too big.

Wondering if there is a source for tubing that will replace the stock units?

I have sitting on my mod right now an R5 XL 2.8 clearo w a BD syringe on it...use the t handle side...its slightly tighter at that point and clicks into place when you push it in...I would advise doing it new though...mine were used before and the HS tubing at the ceramic is leaking...sometimes I wind up w the air tube full of juice...

Here's a pic showing exactly where to cut the syringe. It's important to use the base of the syringe just above the plunger for the base of the carto. Like the previous post said, it'll click into place, the mouthpiece/needle end is too loose.

Listen to what this guy on the boat is saying.

I wasted 3 or 4 syringes before it dawned on me that the plunger end of the syring goes on the battery connector of the carto/

Got some BD's and will be working on it tonite when I get some time.

I just removed the plunger and pushed the tube on to test for fit and it seemed to fit on very well. I wonder if cutting off the flanges there are necessary?
Also looking at above pic, that looks kind of long compared to where marked that I wanted to cut, is that pic in reference to XL's? I'm using regulars.

Just match the length up to your old tubes.

You can keep the flange if you like, yes, but I chose to remove it for looks. Yes, I am using XL's but as said you can keep them the same size as the original if you like. The longer they are the cooler the vape will be.

You might try cutting the first one long to get the hang of it. Remember: You can take it off but you can put it back on.

Also. I find that if I leave the plunger in when I cut the tube, the plunger helps support the tube and keeps it from getting squissed(sp?).

Got it done and seems to be working fine.

When I went to remove the syringe to cut it I had a hell of a time removing it. By the time I was done I had to wiggle it so far side to side that it made the air tube/cup assembly come out of the battery connection, but the wires remained intact.
Was a simple matter to just push it all back in place, and as I said is working fine now without leaks, so I am satisfied.

I have a small Dremel and used that with a cutting wheel to cut it down. I did leave it a little long but will probably trim it down some more. I plan on just using this one at home so didn't worry about removing the "tabs" on the end but may try that next time around.
My only other thought is that with such a tight fit next time I will not put it on until it is all cut and ready to go. I can see that one will be able to continue removing the mod to clean as I did with the original tubing but that would more than likely shorten the life span of the clearo.
It also seems to me that there appears to be more space around the cup/stem internally. Seems to hold a bit more juice than before.

I still say there has to be a source for the same tubing or some other substitute to make for simple replacement to allow for easier cleaning and maintenance. Time to start my research.
