Bumped into your note while searching the board for info on replaceable coil/wick Vision v3's. (also called by its true name, version 2,.0 at some places). I had finally switched to them a couple months ago, then was stunned at how hard the 'genuine' ones with the V logo branding on the cartomizer were to find. I still have boxes of non-Vision non-replaceable clearomizers no one I know will touch, they are so awful, and all you can taste is plastic. When we first tried the newer Vision branded replaceables, we were ecstatic. I am still amazed at how they perform, even using 2.4 replacement heads on plain old Ego's - as I have attracted a bunch of local newbies who only want to use short Ego-C batteries (also almost becoming extinct). The branded Visions burn pretty hot, provide a great throat hit, and deliver fantastic flavor.

Even with exhaustive searching, there are only a couple places that have the branded replaceable Vision clearomizers - the one with the best stock I just ordered about 20 from last night was Sweet-Vapes (Sweet-Vapes, don't forget the dash). I had heard them mentioned positively quite often here in posts. Right now they do also have the replaceable heads for them here:
http://www.sweet-vapes.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.product_details&flypage=vmj_color_plus.tpl&Itemid=84&category_id=39&product_id=1235
The heads are 2.95 each.

Sweet-Vapes vision prices aren't cheap - normal price for the entire clearomizer is 6.95, but they have a buck off on the 2.4's - I can't fathom how hot the 1.8's would fire on even a standard Ego, with the punch the 2.4's have, I think the juice would burn with 1.8's.

I don't know if the vaping vendor world thinks everyone is moving into a tank mode, and evolving past the Vision style clearomizer, but that's my best guess so far of why the genuine Visions are so hard to find. Or maybe they think if someone is buying them, they are inexperienced vapers who wouldn't know the difference between a clone and the real thing anyhow, which I think is a false assumption. Most of the people I help quit are women, and most of them want nothing to do with a battery larger than a standard Ego-C, with a nice sleek, skinnier clear carto on them. Even my hub has cranked his Ego-C Twists down to their lowest setting with these V branded visions. I think the vendors are making a mistake gearing all their offerings to the bigger is better, hard-core vaper customer base. Even a guy with a Provari or Vamo at home might want to take something more discreet to work :)

Hope this info is helpful, and if you, or someone viewing this, bumps into other places selling genuine Ego Vision branded replaceable head clearomizers, let us know...

I have been using them for about 6-9 months. I got so tired of the disposables! Once the juice starts to turn & burn there is nothing you can do but clean once or twice & make do, then toss them out. I would be better served tossing my cash out my car window I hope someone needed it, found it.

I thought the replaceable head was so awesome! Clean the clearo, add a new head for a few bucks & Whala! My local shop stopped carrying them when the ViVi Nova came out. He claimed they were shorting out batteries, failing, causing issues. I NEVER had or knew anyone that had any such issue. He is notorious for "calling" product a "name" & selling for "the" price but it is actually a "knock off." When they said they were getting rid of them I bought every head he had on clearance for $1.20...I am out of my supply.

I tried HARD to get used to ViVi but I don't like the size, the weight, the "pull" on a drag or the lack of resistance in the airflow.

I am not a huge girly, girl but I am female, tall & skinny & I agree with you on this stuff getting big, heavy & ugly.. whistle (cigar) tips gross me out...I like a little bling and a reasonable weight & size for a female.

You are so right...the 1.8 is HOT. I prefer the 2.4 on these so her sale is awesome for me!

Thank you so much for the link...

I have been striking out in my search & keep finding places to buy them only to learn it is business in China. That scares me with credit/debit card purchases on line.

I've never tried these but I think what you're talking about can be found in Canada at
http://https://www.canvape.com/Stardust-V3-p/starv2.htm

Having never tried to post a link before, this may work ....or not.

WOW Lou!!!
Yes, that is it! Is this in Canadian dollars do you know? So CHEAP!!
I'll search the site for a bit & see if I can figure out the currency & conversions.
AWESOME!! Thank you!!

P.S. You posted the link as a link but there is an extra http:// at the front so it won't work that way but i figured it out. Just edite & delete that part & it will work fine :) Thanks so much!

Hi Desert,
Canadian and American have been at par for a while. There is sales tax though. Not sure how that works for you but, I order juice from the States...and anything else I can from Annette....why not order hardware from Canada. These guys are great. Sound rep. They answer emails quickly too.

Thanks for the lesson re links. I seem to think it's so difficult yet it is very simple.

Now I guess I'm going to have to try these V3s. Have you ever tried CEs (Phoenix/Firebird)?. I'm going to ask Annette if she can carry the new Vision Nanos. They are bottom coil which I prefer. As handy as the Vivi Novas are...I do use them ...I don't like the way they handle some juices, most notably the heavier juices. The seem to vape up the lighter parts of the juice leaving an unbalanced juice after a little while. They work well with the lighter juices IMO.
:)

ugh my vision ego clearo is tasting funky. It's not replaceable so I guess I gotta just throw it out?
really it's making me wanna vomit here

ughhh

I was lucky to get a week or two out pf those disposables. You can get away with cleaning them a time or two if it hasn't burned bad but they really aren't the same after cleaning. Works in a pinch though.

Get 91% ispoproply alcohol & soak & shake . 91% dries pretty quick but you'll need a spare while you wait.

Just ordered 15 coil heads from Sweet-Vapes Andante51. Liked the colored tips too but most colors out of stock. That will be a great way to identify what juice is in the clearo. LouP I got a few Nano's to try too. They were inexpensive so it was worth a try.

I have some more Boges carto's on the way from VV with my order...need to get better at filling them but I am so frustrated trying to find replacement heads. At least i will have back-up.

Thanks to both of you!

Just a suggestion... try the SmokTech "Single coil" cartos and compare them to the Boges. IMO they are way better tasting and last sooo much longer plus easier to fill and you can get more juice in them! Really easy to use the condom/push method. Fill your silicone cap 2/3 with juice and slowly push the threaded end of carto into cap. Top it off dripping into the open top and voila!

Btw... let's all see if Annette will look into the bottom coil "nano" vn's. I'd love to give em a try too!

Hi Desert,

:)

I have not tried the Firebird but ages ago I did try a similiar style (looks) by Visions. Not sure what they called it. I just cant get into the whistle (cigar)...it was ages ago so I can't remember why I didn't use it other then the tip. Funny because i ran into while packing to move & actually kept it with other supplies. Maybe I'll pull it out & give it another whirl. Since I needed the heads for my V3's anyway I did get some Nanos from Sweet-Vapes to try. I have never used bottom coil & I have been curious about these & the kangers. I'll let you know how how they are.

Desert... Congrats on the anniversary!

A suggestion on the VN is to make sure the top is not screwed on too tight and also pull the silicone thingy from inside the drip tip so it is slightly coming out of the end that you push/fit into the top. Basically it should grip into the silicone piece that fits over your wick head. Kinda make sense?! Also try "spraying" into your mouth instead of taking a hard drag.

Not at all disrespcting...I use VV juice... not at all liking Vivi novas...need replacement heads for my visions V3 clearomizer...too fearful to enter CC info into a shop in china...anyone local would be helpful...please? Local vendor deleted stock...I bought it all...none left!

ecig.com: The Leading Cigarettes Site on the Net ships from Tucson, even though the number is Phoenix. These guys are great to deal with, and the prices are great.
