I received a Chi You clone right after Christmas that had magnets in the switch. They just weren't strong enough. You couldn't stand up the mod without it firing unless you locked it. You couldn't put it in your pocket at all as the lock ring would work it's self loose and it would fire. So I really was discouraged with it. I also have a brass nemesis clone that I got a little later. I like the Neme a little better because of the firing button. THe nemesis is also a little easier to adjust but that is not something you have to do too often. Anyway, I tried to find the spring for the switch with no luck. I am not even sure who makes the original. So I resorted to Home Depot. They sell an assortment of springs for about $4 with several sizes and types of springs. I took one of them that was a decent tension and a little longer than needed. I clipped the spring shorter with lineman's pliers and it works perfect. I may clip it just a bit shorter as the resistance is pretty strong for my needs. Anyway thought I would put this out there for anyone who, like me was unhappy with the magnets.

Yeah, I have seen that. These magnets (2) we're already there. This was a used piece. The spring works great just feels so different. I may need to hit it with a little fine sandpaper. The button doesn't stick but you can feel a little roughness. Maybe just a drop of oil.
