My inbox has a spring 510 but it’s weak and wore out within a month.
I tore down my inbox and it’s a sealed up unit and it’s a unique 510 unit.
I have the first inbox edition and I think it’s a common problem?

If you have had same problem with inbox please post your repair solution.
It’s definitely fixable but before I modify the design I thought I ask if anyone has found a simpler repair.

Here’s a few pictures of 510 with wires still attached.
I’m going to remove wires with soldering iron and I’ll post a few more.

The bf pin and orings slide into a port which connects with tube and finally into bottle.
It’s dark inside mod so not able to get a decent picture.
I’ll soon have assembly off and electrics out and maybe it’ll show better for a decent picture.

These and the other pics should give an idea how the inbox liquid flows through 510 pin.
I think 510 will come apart without destroying it and the spring may have turned out to be an oring that got squished out.

I forgot silver solder sticks to SS and I may have a permanent fix.
There’s no spring in assembly and never was.
There’s a non conductive washer between positive pin and it has some spring to it.
Actually a good design if the pressed on collar didn’t fail.
I have some silver solder and hopefully the bottle of acid that came with it didn’t leak or evaporate.

I think I got it repaired but time will tell.
I used some CA based metallic adhesive that I’ve used on several aluminum or SS devices.
I cranked down a few atomizers with protruding 510 pins and so far it’s holding.
In fact it’s working better than it did when new so it was probably a failed press joint.
