Hello, I'm new to vaping (2wks),and I'm a little confused about the coils. I'm using an IPV D2 which can do power mode(watts) or joules mode (temp control). I really just want to do the power mode, but I don't know if u can use any ohm or if there are some for one or the other.
I started with a HorizonTech Cerakoat using the .3 Clapton and .3 mask coils in power mode. Worked fine except it leaked badly out of the air vents. So I got a Joyetech Cubis and have been using the .5 coils. LOVE THIS TANK, but I got a few others to try out. One was the Eleaf GS. Really only grabbed this one cuz it was super cheap, however I can only get it to work in temp control. It's using a NI .15 coil. Seems this tank is meant for a mouth to lung vape which isn't the way I like to vape. I also have the Tobeco Super Tank KS,which I got from the vendor that I got the Cerakoat from after telling him about all the leakage. This thing is a monster 10ml tank! I haven't even tried it out because it doesn't come with instructions, and the reviews I've read said it's a leaker too. Also it looks like you have to use tools to loosen screws and set screws to take it apart. Definitely not for a novice, I guess I'll save that one for a later day.
So anyway I'm gonna keep vaping the Cubis, but was just wondering if there are coils I can put I the GS tank so that I can use it in power mode?
