Replacement Coils help needed

I have been vaping Cherry Blossom Tea AiV on the 650 battery starter kit with the 2.2-2.4 ohms coils. My problem is the AiV juice starts to taste like black pepper on the 650 battery, after 5 minutes of vaping. I took my question to the AiV thread and they've said most of AiV juices are delicate and work better at a lower watts around 3.4 mAh or lower, so when I got home, I put the tank on my VV battery at the 3.3-3.5 setting and I taste the cherry more in the juice, not black pepper but at higher 3.5+ I taste the black pepper which I don't want to taste. This is a juice I have at 24mg and is one of my ADV, I'm needing this 24mg. I don't want to have to use the VV battery at work, it is not a length I can hide in my hand.

So my question is: Can I make my 650 batteries work if I use the 2.6-2.8 ohms or the 3.0-3.2 ohms replacement coils. I'm wanting my 650 to mimic my VV at 3.4, is this possible?

Ok, If, IF

You like the horny stuff at 3.3v with 2.2ohm, that's about 4.95 watts.

A reg 650 bat gives 3.8 to 3.9 volts. At least mine is at this moment.

So a 3.2 ohm will give 4.5w to 4.8w a bit colder.

a 3.0 ohm will give 4.8w to 5.1w, close.

So, yes, since you can't vary the volts on the 650, you have to change the ohms.

The vv is about an inch and a quarter longer than a 650. A carto on a vv is the same length as a triton on a 650, but cartos suck.

Maybe you need either bigger hands, or the old "hide in the cleavage" technique.

Thanks Dave, and "hide in the cleavage" is a great idea ......... except I'm on camera full time so hiding in my hand is better than in the cleavage. LOL And if I'm seen hiding something in my cleavage, FBI and Secret Service would be called in.

Wow, that's a super low wattage for most liquids... No wonder I thought AiV didn't taste like anything, I tend to START testing new juices at about 6watts.... And I agree, Dave should get pics of the lanyard, since he was awesome to do the math (trying to help you out here, brother!)

Okay out of sheer curiosity plus I like your math skills. On a 650 battery do you know the watts with a carto and with the mini tanks. Because I wasn't having that problem with the carto on a G6 and the mini tank gave me the black pepper taste on the G6 after heavy vaping so I figured I let the wick get dry by over vaping it because I was hitting it pretty hard. I finally loaded a Triton tank with this juice because I liked it so well in the carto and with the mini tanks, but man in the triton tank with the VV battery at 3.4 this horny juice is awesome. I know alot of you like a good TH but I don't really like a harsh TH at least not from vaping and I like cooler juices not warm. I don't even drink coffee because it is a hot liquid.

I haven't tried the Twas Brillig yet and I don't have the Ginger. Several samples are still steeping like White Rabbit. I like Zombie Apocalyse as a treat but not all day. I liked the Cherry Blossom sample and when I ordered I asked for extra flavor in it. After airing it out and steeping for a week, now it is perfect. LOL

Right now my favorite ADV are the Cherry Blossom, Kringle's Curse and Sub-Zero. I also keep mixing Malibu with Sub-Zero for a nice Tropical Breeze vape, I haven't nailed the perfect mix yet though. And I keep liking/hating Voodoo, it is better with a full tank but vape a little out of the tank and it is just meh, I can't figure out the Voodoo yet. It keeps changing on me.

I need to teach you how to use a multitester.

The carto I have is 2.3, so similar to a triton regular. And a mini ohms up the same. Actually, the triton I just tested is a bit lower, at 2.2 or 2.1

Who else would I go get my multit, fire it up, and spec out these tops?

White rabbit will get peppery at higher voltages too evie, so just keep it in mind when you load it up.
I only vape my AiV juices off my triton VV, to avoid the peter piper pepper

y'know, I once got some nic in for my DIY that was super peppery, I never thought to try it at lower voltage/ wattages though, but yeah, it was like a E-liquid that was infused with black pepper... needless to say, it went into my "onlyifIhaveto" box. it was a 24mg base, so I might mix up some at 6mg or 12 (my standard), dial it down to 3.4v and see how it performs.... Sucks that AiV's juices do that though...

Good thing that Halo doesn't... I don't think I'd like a peppery Tribecca or Kringles. Peppery VooDoo would have mistress Angie taking off heads I'd bet!!!!

I thought Halo's Turkish Tobacco had a black pepper taste also. That was back when I was using G6 and the regular Triton. I'll have to go back and try it on the VV at a lower setting...I still have part of a 30ml bottle left. I enjoyed it anyway, but sometimes the pepper taste would rub me the wrong way.

Oh, for certain, and I wasn't hating on AiV at all, just wondering if they use the same sourced nic as that bottle I have of nic base.

I've gone back, and tried some, and some were actually decent now. There was a melon type that I got as a freebie once, that I swear to (insert-deity-here) smells like pinesol soaked gym socks now. Really glad I never tried that one. Was a "honeydew". I hate the real ones almost as much as you hate Kearney!

Hopefully it doesn't find a way to make our garbage disposal smell like that!
