I am fairly new to the whole vaping thing, since Thanksgiving 2012 or so.

I have the Mistic ecig but I do not like how the tobacco tastes and WalMart is frequently out of stock.

I have the Blu Premium 100 kit. My issue here is the carts run out too fast and are a bit pricey. I would like to start doing my own cartimizers. I have some juice from Johnson Creek on the way, and I have a Juicy Vapor store near me, which I plan to visit today.

I like the size of the blu but I would like to be able to fill my own carts. Are there some that will fit either of the above-mentioned ecigs?

Also, when I can purchase a new kit, what is a good comparable one? I can deal with the battery life for now. I am still a bit overwhelmed by all the many choices. I was thinking about the 808 ones.

Thank you for the welcome and the suggestions.
I have blank carts now for my blu til I can invest in a new setup. The store I went to has Smoov products so the new choice is a 510 or a tank model of that brand.
There is a Juicy Vapor brick and mortar store in my state, so I got to visit and chat. Really nice, helpful people. They took the time to answer all my newbie questions, and let me try flavors. I did not realize until now that I missed having taste buds for the 30 years I smoked. :) Online is great for buying stuff, but I like going to the store to look around. New juice flavors on my list - raspberry and ectoplasma.

I am going to refill the blu, but I also just got a box of empty carts for the heck of it. The just gotta hold out until I buy a new set up. Blu will then be my backup. The battery life is way short on those. I'm at the try it all stage to see what works best for me. There are way too many options out there.

Hey Susie,
Congrats on making the switch:thumbs:!!!! and welcome to the overwhelming complex world of VAPING!!!!
Let me help you save some time AND MONEY here.
I too first started with a Blu started kit and it worked good, got me off the analogs (so job well done). But I quickly tired of the limited flavors, dry cartos and most of all, THE BATTERY LIFE!!!! Terrible. An upgrade was needed. So I took the overwhelming advice of the ECF community and got an ego twist (Joytech). I LOVE IT. I quickly learned what REAL VAPING was all about! I got 2 1100mah ego twist batteries, a few kanger tanks, USB chargers and some juice!! I was set for a relatively small investment!! The twists are very nice and variable voltage too!! Having the ability to adjust your voltage on the fly (with a twist of your fingers) is fantastic. You are better able to customize your vaper production and enhance the throat hit!! Well worth the money! I hightly recommend them to anyone stepping up from the cig-a-like batteries. They accept any 510 connection (so you can still use your BLu cartos) and ego style tanks and jumbo carts too. There are alot of choices out there, but these will NOT disapoint.....I promise.
Save some time and money........order the ego twists by Joytech. You'll love 'em. They are a GREAT step up from the cig-a-likes.
Good Luck, and enjoy

The was the stater kit, and what got me into this. I'm looking into the next one now, when I have some more money to spend on it. With so much information available, I cannot decide what I want. I just know, blu is not good for the long term.

And yes, I do look into everyone's suggestiong for the next one.
