replacement for rubber 510 connector gasket!

I was modding today and am down to three 510 battery connectors, all three with destroyed rubber gaskets. I started snooping through my collection of odd stuff I should've thrown away long ago, I came across the rubber caps that came with my 510 cartomizers. I don't use them since I like keeping it open for dripping, so I went after it with my tiny Fiskars and a craft knife. I whittled it down to perfect size, popped that center into the connector and it's perfect!!!! Hooray, now I can salvage all these orphan connectors or replace ones that erode over time.

Yep, I think you're right. Promised myself I wasn't going to mess up my newly cleaned work table. Next thing I know, I've slapped another box mod together, determined to figure out how to use those useless 510 connectors. I can't believe how great those rubber caps work, though. The center post pops right into the center hole and the rest is just patiently taking enough rubber out at the bottom to pop it back in. Works great though!

Just did the same thing with a crappy connector, i looked all over the place for a o ring ( no o ring for carto) I used the tip under the tip off a 510 soft carto. fit perfect circumference wise, i just had to shave a little off the height. like minds eh?
