:yawn:Ok, have tfv8 baby beast. Leaks like CRAZY! I know there's a ton of possible reasons and fixes, but need something that is a little less finicky. Love the flavor and clouds this tank produces, but need something that can be thrown in pocket w/o worrying about leaking at work all day. Any suggestions for 24.5mm, low ohm, 4ml+ capacity pref, good flavor and decent vapor, w/ replaceable coils???? Would top airflow tanks be better??? So lost lol :tumble:

So, I know you posted this a while ago! Sorry, I'm just seeing it, although I wouldn't be able to give you the same advice at that time!
I'm not sure if you found a new tank, but I just got the eVic Primo Mini with the ProCore Aries tank and I LOVE it! I had the same problem, my BBB tanks leak like CRAZY!!! I'm not sure why, but I've tried EVERYTHING to stop it and it just isn't working. The ProCore Aries tanks have yet to leak on me and if you like the coils from the BBB, they work in the ProC tank, although I'm going to trying the ProC coils bc my M2 (BBB) coils haven't been performing so well lately!

You should consider the Freemax Starre Pure. I've NEVER had a single leak, due to top airflow design. Capacity is a touch over 4 ml, replacement ceramic coils last 3 to 4 WEEKS. Choice of .5 or .25 coils. I prefer the .5.

Excellent flavor, decent clouds.

In short, it ticks every box. I still can't understand why it seems to fly under people's radar.

I'll agree with the Starre Pure. It is top air so will never leak. It has great flavor. Coils are a little pricey.
Also I find 1 or 2 coils in every 5 pack spit. I get a bad coil and just toss it because when I get a good one it last 4 to 6 weeks. If I'm going to go out and need something to put in my pocket this is my choice.

I find the TFV8 types are tricky. One thing I have learned is to never refill them while they are hot. Let them cool off a bit before opening them to fill. I do use these at home where I can watch them, lol. I usually take a small (about an inch) square of paper towel, poke a hole in it, and put it between the mod and tank. This lets me see if it is leaking and gives me a chance to run it to the sink before it ruines my mod. (

A mild tank i like is the Innokin ISub-S, never leaks and i keep two on hand. Mt Baker had them for like $6.99 recently.
Just remove the top splatter gaurd on top the coil to get more flow and also extends to coils life too.

I have a Smok Beast King that is a great home only tank. Its leaked once but was my fault as i didnt tighten it down like needed. The coils last forever as i change them with a juice swap or at 1 weeks use. Just soak in vodka water mix and rinse with destilled water and let air dry. Dual 18650 or bigger is needed tho as it reqiures 80watts minamum in my opinion.

Thanks for all the suggestions, will definitely look into some of these tank opts! I did do some YouTube research on these and went through a lot of your suggestions listed too; I seem to have gotten it about 98% leak-free, but haven't used enough to trust it yet outside of home w/o a full roll of paper towels close by lol. Keep working at it and look into some of these tanks too til I find a solution :)

The leaks on the Smok tanks was cause by wires that did not allow the gasket ( I think it was on the atomizer ) to seal, it could be fixed by moving the wire. There is a video on YouTube about this.
I'll have to look into that! Although, I am really enjoying the eVic ProCore Aries tanks, I haven't had to worry about any leaks!

After spending quite a bit of time trying to get a Smok TFV8 tank to work on a Pico 25 in temp mode I decided it is not going to happen. I was able to get a older Vaperesso tank to work with the Pico 25 in temp mode. The tank is longer in length than the unit which looks a little funny. I was able to find a Griffin 25 mini that looks pretty good to me.
