I'm going to try to say this as simple as possible. When I was ordering mine, I was all confused with the lingo.

Out of the box, this kit is going to have everything you need to start vaping and aside from the color is exactly what I received. I would recommend going with the black as I believe the dual coil cartomizers only come in black. Two different colors IMO make for a non-sleek look.

Kit comes with:
(2) ego batteries
(2) atomizers (single coil)
(5) cartridges not cartomizers
stuff to charge the batteries and possible a drip tip

The atomizers connect to the battery and the cartridge fits on top of the atomizer. The cartridge is what holds your juice and as you vape, the juice will drip onto the atomizer. This method didn't work well for me. I didn't feel I got a proper hit and at times a burnt taste because the juice wasn't dropping onto the atomizer as fast as I was vaping. I ordered a few dual coil cartomizers. If you get this kit, my suggestion is that you use the atomizers for trying different juices using the drip method.

A cartomizer is an atomizer and cartridge in one. I fill up my cartomizer with my juice (about 4ml although it says it holds 5ml) and vape away. The dual coil gives me the vape that I look for. Nice throat hit, nice cloud. I wouldn't say that it's warm though. I fill it up with my juice and with the way I vape, it lasts me a few days before I top it off by adding a few drops.

If you're looking for warmth, I've heard that low resistance cartomizers are the way to go. I've never used them, but have not really heard anything bad about them other than they drain your battery quicker. Some say they get the throat hit they want, the warmth and a nice cloud. I've also heard that higher voltage device give them a warmer vape and more throat hit. For me, the ego provides the same feeling I got from cigarettes, so there is no reason for me to even try one. I feel that my body will eventually get use to that and want to step up to something more.

All of this is just my two cents based on my recent experience with wondering what to buy. So essentially, you're buying the kit and dual coil cartomizers. It looks like the kit comes with a 30ml bottle of your choice of juice, so you're covered there. Pick a good one cause it will suck having to wait on another juice to arrive if you don't like it. I've never tried any of their juices, so can't give you any advice there. You're getting your cartomizers from the site that I got my Nuport juice from so you could pick a menthol from from both sites and decide which one you like more.

Scribes - this is what I referenced in my reply to you, and what I'm using (though I'm using black). You stated early on that you weren't as concerned about price and this is the only place (currently) that you can get the Ego-C.

OVALE eGo-C ( Silver ) - ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE (e-cigarette) :: ego-C, changeable system, ego-T, elips, liquid, juice, accessories

And then also order some LR atomizers to use with these tanks.

eGo-C Low Resistance Atomizer Heads - ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE (e-cigarette) :: ego-C, changeable system, ego-T, elips, liquid, juice, accessories

I'm still using the same atomizer that I put on mine last week (the SR that comes with the kit) and it's still going strong. I'll be ordering those LR's Friday. From current reviews, the LR will bring out more flavor and throat hit for you.

You can also still use those EGO dual cartomizers on the battery that comes in this kit if you wanted to. You just wouldn't use the cone and atty base and atomizer from the kit (because there's an atomizer inside the cartomizer).

For me, filling the plastic tank, not having to let it sit and settle for 20-30 mins like recommended on cartomizers is perfect for me. That's not to say I'm not going to try cartomizers - I like the Ego, specifically BECAUSE you can try so many different configurations. But for right out of the box ease for someone new (like myself), I have ZERO regrets for this purchase.

I'm just going to elaborate on the TH. I'll leave the recommendations alone. This is what I've learned.
Throat hit is mainly determined by nicotine more than anything else. A higher % of PG will give you more TH, and more flavor, VG will give you more vapor but less TH and less flavor. If you want more TH you can get an 'artificial' TH additive (I think freedomsmokeusa has it) but I have not heard much about it. There are also other things that determine throat hit TO SOME EXTENT, heat, voltage, ohms, some flavors emulate TH, hot flavors like cinnamon,(haven't tried jalapeno yet, but my guess is it will hit HARD LOL) menthol will a bit. Just some things I've heard here and there, and it's just my :2c:.

For a starter kit, you'll get more "bang for your buck on this kit"

eGo-T Tank Starter Kit - 1100mAh

Bigger batteries, lower price. I'd look at getting some cartos. Some find the ego tank system problematic.

Boge 510 2.0 LR Cartomizer 5 Pack With FREE 5ml Bottle Of Eliquid

These are good solid cartos. I'd get two packs.

I'm not sure if this is a forum registered supplier. Has anyone had dealings with these guys? Do they stand behind their gear?

They indeed stand by their gear. They don't have their own registered forum but they do have an official thread somewhere.
Testimonial from me when something went bad with them--> http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reviews-suppliers-positive/241931-up-above-customer-service-vapor-god.html

and here is the Vapor God offical thread. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-cigarette-suppliers-forum/227343-official-vaporgod-com-ordering-announcements-thead-11.html

Keeping with the thread itself, I found out their menthol is super super strong. Knock you on your bottom if you think other stuff isn't strong enough for ya they seem to be the wasabi of strong menthol. I got a sample pack and didn't know what to get for my last flavor so I got a bottle of menthol for my brother so he would stop leeching off mine... Wow. Dab-a-Do-Ya kinda stuff!

Cartomizers are the things that i refill with liquid? And i can keep refilling them?

A cartomizer is one way to get juice.

An atomizer is just a heating element. To work it needs a cartridge. The ego-t kit uses a tank cartridge that holds more juice. Some people love them, some people have less success and prefer cartomizers.

A cartomizer is both the atomizer and cartridge in one unit. There are two basic types. One is a tank with wicks that carry the liquid up to the heating coil. The other is filled with a stuffing that holds the liquid, like a sponge. The Boge type that someone mentioned above is what I use, and it's got the stuffing. Either cartomizer type can be refilled and reused many times. I've tried the ego-t style and didn't have any major complaints but they weren't for me.

UPDATE****

So i read reviews all over the net for a few weeks, so many people saying this over that, dont do this, dont do that, use this, only that, etc.. I only got more confused. I started seeing some consistencies though. 1 was this Ego stuff, and the second was about Volcano.

I looked at both, and got what at the time was the least confusing to me. Volcanos website has some rediculously easy to follow video guides on their products, which helped me TREMENDOUSLY. Step by step on what each thing does, how to clean them, how to use them, etc..

They have a kit called the Volcano Inferno thats touted for having rediculous battery life, and pretty hefty throat hits. So i spent i think $95 total and got the Inferno kit with tanks. I dont want to drip every few minutes, that just seems like way to much work for probably what i assume minimal gains...

The kit comes with a 1000mah battery, and a 650mah pass through battery. 1 Tankomizer, 5 blank tanks, two usb chargers and a wall charger, 1 15ml bottle of your choice of juice, and i think thats it. Both batteries are manual, which is  compared to autos if you ask me. Autos seem so worthless to me after trying them before.

I bought the kit with their menthol flavor, and also added a 15ml bottle of their menthol burst, which was supposed to be stronger.

Holy mother of god. I cannot believe this. $8 shipping ordered it on Monday at 4pm, had it in my hand Wed at 5:30pm. I almost lost my mind when i got it. It literally feels and tastes so much like a menthol cigarette i nearly passed out from surprise. Its obviously a way cleaner taste, but the menthol flavor, the throat hit, the sheer amount of vapor, all of it collectively blew me away. I could literally go on and on about this thing.

Take this for exactly what im saying,

I smoked 1 - 1.5 packs of full flavor green box Kool Menthol cigarettes for 13 years. I have tried nicorette gum, patches, chantex, cold turkey, etc.. The nicotine subs like gum and patches took the edge off for me, but i still constantly craved a cigarette. I tried other brands of ecigs (albeit lower grade in every manner) and even though i got my nicotine from that to some extent, they never lasted more than a couple hours, had horrible taste to them, and were just straight up corner and a hassle, this thing doesnt. I have to assume there are other things out there very similar to this product, so this isnt just a plug for volcano, just my experience with what i decided to use.

I literally have not craved an analog cigarette since this arrived. It fulfills all of my habit. Gives me nicotine, gives me the motions of smoking, gives me that much desired throat hit that makes my mind feel like im smoking.

THis is a long post, and i apologize for that. I had just felt so beat by cigarettes, and thought nothing was going to work, then i found this... seriously...this thing is saving my life, and my wallet. I am already looking at lower nic levels, or no nic just to vape more cause its such a great sub to analogs and its actually fun to do.

Quick side notes. They say tankos degrade flavor and vape. I dont know how true this is because this Inferno makes massive vapor and throat hits like a mule, leaves an excellent menthol taste in my mouth. I have 5 tanks, fill one, lasts all freakin day. the 1000 mah battery i have used from 7am - 1am without losing any vapor.

If your confused and looking for something to sub analogs, i was literally just in your place, and got lucky and hit the jackpot, so i feel!!!

Wow!!! You DID hit the jackpot. But it sounds like you really did your homework. Nice job! Which menthol did you try?

I got both their regular menthol and their menthol burst flavors. Both of which are good, but the Menthol burst really hits like the analogs i was smoking but a much cleaner flavor. Last night i mixed a tank of half of each, the regular menthol seems to have a darker more tobacco-ish flavor, the two combined are really doing it for me.

I have some sample kits on order of several different juice flavors from different vendors with different nic levels. Really excited to try some of these.

So Glad you found what works for you so quick. Now is your time to have fun with it try new liquids it's gonna be really exiting for you!! I'm still excited from it :) My only 2 cents is .....Samples are king! (Always buy samples before purchasing a 30+ml) and always have an extra tank and battery on hand just incase you have equipment failure. It's such an annoyance when you do. Merry Christmas!!!!!!!

I am convinced "throat hit" is bull..... Listen, you need more nicotine. What's the highest nic content juice you've vaped? You obviously need more. There is nothing wrong with starting at 32mg.

it is if your vaping at high volts... when I started out I bought all 5 volt stuff and my first order of juices was all 24mg

I wasn't enjoying it to say the least

This is a strange question to me. First thing that comes to my mind is Fisherman's Friend menthol eucalyptus lozenges, which I use whenever I have sore throats or just want one to sooth a dry mouth. If you haven't heard of TH derived from menthol without smoke/vapor, try Fisherman's Friend candies.

Not to mention Halls and other similar candies. Menthol flavor is also used in other food products as well as medicinal ointments. Menthol juice can't possibly be the last one available when talking about e-cigarettes. It sounds silly.

I was a menthol smoker. Some vapers still need to add nicotine to get the throat hit. I don't. Not to brag about it, but it's one of those moments for me that people are indeed different. (I always thought menthol is menthol. It's got it's own degree of strenght, ie, Fisherman's Friend is strong compared to Halls.)

I do need nic in other flavors. But I'm using menthol crystals and concoct my own juice. I don't use exact percentages like some do. VG is widely availabe. I bought PG and menthol crystals online. 50/50 VG/PG or not it doesn't matter what the percentages to me. I use PG when thinning my juice. But I'm quickly running out of it so I use distilled water instead. So I only use PG now when dissolving menthol crystals because it will never mix with VG. I don't know why. As soon as the menthol crystals have melted, I can then mix VG in the solution without problems. If I want to add flavor in the mix I'd just add the one I like according to taste.
